LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
A DECADE LATER
The Ducati Panigale 1199 made its dealership debut in 2012. It was obvious the direction that the Italian brand was moving toward. Through the evolution of the 916 (noting only the base models), the underappreciated (in my honest opinion) 999, the 1098, the 1199 before arriving at V4, I've watched as Ducati distilled what was already an iconic piece of motorcycle engineering.

And now, 10 years after the debut of the Panigale, Ducati embarks on a new journey of refinement that hopes to elevate what was excellent and make it perfect. On a personal note, every model of the Panigale excites me whenever I lay eyes on one (that includes the ones that I own and the those that I don't own yet). So whatever refinements that Ducati continues to make on the Panigale are all good.
What's that old saying? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Well, Tupac said, "I ain't mad at cha'... Do your thing, boy."
