LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
FAIR SEASON RIDERS
On the East Coast, the murmuring of "end of the riding season" has begun. As a rider, I've never understood the concept of the riding season coming to a close at the end of the summer. Don't get me wrong, Autumn and Winter mean cooler and colder weather... But that's why there is leather, and heated vests, gloves, seats, layers... long johns, etc.

I've never limited my riding to the time of year. Save snow and ice on the road, I ride all year round. Riders on the West Coast and in the South ride all year round. Why wouldn't I? Why wouldn't you? So before you put your bike away for hibernation, consider extending your riding into the cold months. Do the research and gear up with a kit to keep you warm and comfortable when riding in the cold. And if the cold to cold for you, then take a trip out West.
Stop letting the time of year dictate your time spent riding.
Thank me later.
