I am currently in my last year of school at Collegiate Girls’ High School in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. I am very interested in playing college golf and seeking a strong education in America. I would be proud to play and represent an American college if I was granted the opportunity. I believe that in being able to play golf in the US will not only help my golf game to grow but it will provide me with a platform to experience college golf, travel and meet new people. It will open many doors for my future and allow me to experience golf at its best. I believe that this will mould me into a more independent and driven person. I firmly believe that the USA has more to offer than South Africa in terms of golf facilities and education. Representing a college golf team has been a dream of mine since I started golf. It is a major honour to be a part of such a prestigious system. I believe that I will bring enthusiasm, drive and determination to the team. I have represented the Eastern Province Women’s Team for a few years, therefore I am very familiar with the importance of team work and working together towards success. Golf is an individual sport which had taught me a lot of things such as independence however playing in a team and representing your province/state is very rewarding. I love the team spirit and enthusiasm that comes with college golf.
