Sporting KC sends out a weekly schedule via press release containing information on media availabilities and events every Monday. Should you like to be added to the team’s media distribution list, please contact the Sporting KC Communications department at communications@sportingkc.com.

Sporting Kansas City’s active roster is available at www.sportingkc.com/players.

MEDIA AVAILABILITY/TRAINING ACCESS

Each Tuesday, Sporting KC’s training session will be open to media in its entirety and will be followed by media availabilities on field with players and Manager Peter Vermes. Each Thursday, Sporting KC’s training session will be open to media for the final 15 minutes and will be followed by a press conference in the Media Studio with Manager Peter Vermes and a player. All media availabilities will be detailed in the club’s weekly schedules and are subject to change. Postmatch Media Availability

• AT HOME: The postmatch availability will be hybrid, with media in attendance at Children’s Mercy Park to head to the interview room on the first floor, while the Zoom link below will also be available for those not in attendance.

• ON THE ROAD: The Zoom link for the team’s postgame availability will be communicated the morning of each match.

Media Credentials

Season credentials for Sporting Kansas City home matches have been confirmed with those that applied and received approval earlier in the offseason. Please email communications@sportingkc.com should you have any questions regarding season credentials.

Media can also apply for single-match credentials at www.sportingkc.com/credential up to 48 hours prior to each home match at Children’s Mercy Park. Media that have been approved for a single-match credential will receive a notification approximately 48 hours prior to the match with parking and arrival information.

Match Notes

Sporting Kansas City’s Communications department creates Match notes for every match during the season, containing pertinent team information such as the roster, schedule, broadcast information, bios, notes/stats on the team and much more. All match notes throughout the season are available online at issuu.com/sportingkc, while a PDF version is also emailed directly to select broadcasters and media members. Should you like to receive the PDF version, please email communications@sportingkc.com.

Pronunciation Guide

Sporting Kansas City’s phonetic pronunciation guide can be found on the roster page above. A collection of each player on the roster pronouncing their own name is available on soundcloud.com/sportingkansascity.

ASSETS/IMAGEN

Media assets are routinely made available via Major League Soccer’s asset distribution archive, Imagen, which can be accessed at mls.imagencloud.com.

To access Imagen, media are required to create an account. Under organization/club, media should register as media/other. Once the account has been approved by MLS, you will have access to highlights, photos, soundbytes, broadcast melts and more from every MLS club.

Sporting Kansas City will also continue to utilize Box to share timely and pertinent assets.

Quote Sheets

After every Sporting Kansas City match, a quote sheet will be made available on SportingKC.com with a transcription of the postmatch press conference.
