PREMIUM CARBON FIBRE CONSTRUCTION WHY G3? SKIS Designed, engineered and tested deep in the wild-west of BC’s Coast Mountains, G3 skis are purpose built for skiing hard in the backcountry. Premium lightweight materials balance with G3’s unique chatter-proof technologies for fast ascents and powerful descents.

SIDEWALLS IN ALL SKIS
G3 uses only premium carbon fibre laminates in the FINDr, SEEKr, and SENDr skis. These are the same 100% multi-directional stitch bonded fabrics used in aerospace industries. To optimize the flex, rigidity and power transfer specific to each ski, we meticulously engineer the orientation, amount and structure of every layer of carbon above and below the core. WET VS. DRY LAYUP G3 starts with dry and flexible sheets of carbon fibre for each ski. This allows us to use exactly the right amount of resin for each ski’s size, weight, and the amount of carbon laminate. This takes advantage of high precision compaction and an optimized fibre to resin ratio. Our process minimizes unnecessary resin weight and maximizes the carbon’s contribution to flex, rigidity and power transfer.
WHAT IS POLYURETHANE? Polyurethane (or PU) is an elastomeric polymer material known for its energy absorption, durability, and elasticity. It is commonly used in skateboard wheels and racecar bushings to make for a smoother ride.
3 DIMENSIONAL CORES
NO MORE CHATTER An inherent problem with carbon and ultralight touring skis is chatter, due to the light and stiff materials used. PU sidewalls counteract this chatter by absorbing that extra energy and creating a more damp ride overall.
Every G3 ski has a specific purpose. With that purpose in mind we develop a specialized core profile that focuses the strength and weight of the ski exactly where it is needed. The FINDr features a thinner spine for maximum weight reduction and reduced swingmass, the SEEKr spine is wider to allow for more playfulness in the turn, while the ROAMr and SENDr spine covers almost the full width of the ski for optimal mass distribution and power transfer.
DURABILITY & VERSATILITY The elasticity of PU increases durability by 30% improving protection from sidewall impact when compared to ABS. Using PU in ski construction also allows for a permanent bond to the wood core and a seamless sidewall.

BUILT TO LAST
TITANAL LAYERS G3’s aggressive SENDr and ROAMr skis pack two full tip-to-tail layers of 7000 series Titanal aluminum for dampness and maximum control at high speeds.
MATERIALS THAT CAN HANDLE THE ABUSE OF BACKCOUNTRY SKIING G3 produces the highest performing products and doesn’t hold back on crucial materials to save weight. Durability and performance are paramount. Hardened, corrosion resistant, alloy steel edges featured in G3 skis allow for extreme durability and integrity through multiple tunes.
TITANAL MOUNTING PLATES Built into G3’s ultralight FINDr & SEEKr skis for optimal mounting integrity to prevent the binding from pulling out in the field.
FULL THICKNESS BASES While other ski manufacturers may be using thinner bases to cut weight, G3 utilizes full thickness Electra 2000 bases for optimal performance in the field. These allow for multiple tunes to maximize the performance of the ski throughout the life of the product. More importantly, these thicker bases are far less susceptible to impact damage from hidden rocks and other potential obstacles.

Lightweight, stable, and ready for anything. The FINDr features G3’s progressive FLYRIDE PLUS construction to balance low weight with ultra-high performance in the field. To dampen the inherent stiffness and chatter from a full carbon fibre layup, the FINDr was the first in our ski line to use PolyUrethane sidewalls. This all comes together to create a tool for ski mountaineering objectives with stable downhill performance.

REAL WORLD BINDING RETENTION Standard release tests don’t account for many of the real world causes of unwanted binding release. G3 takes binding testing further to ensure consistent step-in and retention that holds up to the very real challenges of snowpacking, boot icing, step-in techniques, high speed chatter and toe jaw pressure.
