Lisa “Lele” Sadoughi has more than 20 years of experience designing costume jewelry, headbands, sunglasses, handbags, and more. Her work has been worn by many celebrities, including Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez.

Lindsey Metselaar is the host of We Met At Acme, one of the leading sex and dating podcasts. In addition to the podcast, she is the CEO of Lindsey’s Lunchbox, a social media food/restaurant consultancy. Given her passion for food, Metselaar started her own Instagram handle, better known as @DontExpectSalads, where you can find almost anything but…salads!

Michael Gregson Reinert

Michael Gregson Reinert is a leader in the highfashion, arts, and luxury-goods industry. He is the CEO/owner of Reinert & Partners, where he’s known for taking his clients branding, marketing, and creative direction to new levels. Reinert is currently on the host committee for the Salvation Army of Palm Beach County Paradise Ball.

Isaac Boots

Born and raised in Hawaii and dubbed a breakout fitness star by The New York Times, Isaac Boots is a philanthropist, choreographer, and Broadway dancer. He created TORCH’D, a sustainable workout that burns fat, builds stamina, and achieves visible results.

Mitchell Sozio is an entrepreneur, DJ, and Palm Beach regular. He has been profiled by various publications, including The New York Times and Robb Report, for his business ventures. Sozio is currently an undergraduate student at the George Washington University. On the weekends, he DJs and produces his own EDM music under the stage name M-SOZ.

Dr. Lauren Hazzouri is a licensed psychologist and private practitioner known for her talks on confidence, self-esteem, and therapeutic techniques. She was named one of the top five women in the world inspiring girls by German Glamour magazine. Her work has appeared in Teen Vogue, Forbes, and British Vogue. She has also received multiple awards and honors.

It’s hard to believe we’re at the halfway point of the Palm Beach season, but boy, is it a great time to be here! It’s back to freezing temps up North, and the sun is brighter than ever down here. All the parties and galas are in full swing; the restaurants are packed; and everyone is dressed to the nines.

Last year around this time, I was living in Palm Beach full-time for the winter. It was my dream ever since I was little to experience what it would be like to not hop on a plane in my favorite magical place that is Palm Beach for months. It was the first time in my life that I felt I was truly focused on one thing: me. And within that focus came the perfect environment for making on my most important career decision: launching Spotlight

Yep, Palm Beach is exactly where came to life. Putting in the countless hours with a view of the beach was the inspiring environment I craved for bringing this magazine together. I believe that everyone has a certain place where they can most easily let their dreams blossom— PB is mine.

For this issue, I’m thrilled to announce that entrepreneur and president of The Colony Hotel, Sarah Wetenhall, is our cover star. We were set up on a blind lunch date by real estate agent Susan Harrison at Compass—she simply thought we’d get along and should know each other. Within five minutes of our conversation—which took place during lunch at The Mark Hotel in New York on Met Gala day of all days!—I felt like we immediately connected and knew she’d be the perfect local subject for one of our issues.

Sarah is responsible for transforming her Pink Paradise destination into one of the most-talkedabout hotels in not only Palm Beach but around the country. It’s officially the hottest spot on the island to see and be seen, and Sarah’s vision has enabled locals, tourists, and even the biggest brands to have one hub in Palm Beach for all things fun, glamorous, and delicious.
