When you know, you know!
I have always been fascinated with houses ever since I was a little girl, and I always noticed more things about them than most children my age. To this day I remember every detail of my girlhood home including the pull-down ironing board tucked into the paneled kitchen wall - the floral print cover, the scratches, the creaking sound it made as my mother pulled it down to iron my clothes. Insert Miranda Lambert’s song “The House That Built Me.” I believe this is where it all began.
I worked in higher education for 17 years before staying home full-time with my three daughters. I loved my career at that time, but once our third daughter was born, it was time to stay home and focus solely on my family, a decision I’ll never regret.

During this time I watched the market closely and got excited when friends and family bought homes. I even told a friend about a home I’d seen, and after looking at it twice, she purchased the home! At that point, I realized it was time for me to get down to business! However, there were a few hurdles along the way.
In my twenties my mother passed away after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. A year later, my siblings and I sold our childhood home. My fascination with houses grew. In the coming years I got married, bought a house and started a family. All the while I was thinking about real estate and that someday I’d like to be a realtor.
