12Stone® Church feeds 5,000 unemployed families for the holidays. 12Stone® Church will feed 5,000 unemployed families again this Christmas season. The church has renewed their partnership with the HoneyBaked Ham Corporation, and the Gwinnett Braves to provide a “meal and more” to families affected by unemployment. Each family will receive a Honey Baked Ham or Turkey, a week’s worth of groceries and four tickets to a Gwinnett Braves home game in the 2012 season.
In addition to the 2,000 packages 12Stone will distribute at Coolray Field, 3,000 Christmas packages will be given to the unemployed of 12Stone Church, friends and neighbors of the congregation and families reached through the local school system. 12Stone Church is one church meeting in multiple locations including Lawrenceville, Hamilton Mill, Flowery Branch and starting in 2012 Sugarloaf. 12Stone® Church exists to inspire life, share life and give life because Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.” For more information on 12Stone Church visit
On December 17th at 1:00 pm at Coolray Field, home of the Gwinnett Braves, 12Stone Church will be handing out the “Meal and More” package to anyone who is unemployed and lives in the greater Gwinnett area. “We will provide 2,000 Christmas “meal and more” packages to give out on a first come, first serve basis to anyone who is unemployed” says Senior Pastor, Kevin Myers. “We are returning to the Feed5000 Christmas initiative because the need is still there in our community.
