Loganville Community Ministry Village Founded by Director Chet Fowler and First Baptist Church of Loganville’s Senior Pastor, Ronnie Kendall in 2006, Loganville Community Ministry Village is a combination of outreach ministries for Walton County. LCMV is a faith-based not-for-profit organization that believes it is their duty to reach the people of their community with Christ’s Love. Their goal is to identify the pressing physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the community and use the resources they have to help find solutions, bring healing and share hope. LCMV offers many different services for assistance to those in need. The Hope House Counseling Center offers professional counseling to people of all ages and those struggling with all types of difficulties. Their counselors all hold a Masters Degree in Counseling and are committed Christians who use biblical principles to help navigate those in need through life’s difficulties, but do not limit their services to only Christians or members of a specific church. Anyone and everyone are welcome to come to LCMV for counseling. LCMV has partnered with “A Childs Voice” Child Advocacy Center, and it is housed in the ministry village. Unfortunately statistics show that sexual abuse is rampant in our community. The resources offered here can help families be safe and productive by offering the medical and mental health care that these children will need in order to heal and lead a productive life. Play Therapy is a type of therapy offered that builds on the normal communicative and learning processes. Play Therapy is different than regular play in a way that therapists work with children to address and solve their own problems in productive manner. Many children with different behavioral or emotional issues can benefit from Play Therapy. Life Coaches for Kids is another service offered at LCMV, which is a faithbased, fun and rewarding mentoring program. Through this program, children are paired with adults who have a heart for helping children through difficult periods of their lives. LCMV offers support for local foster care parents. As these parents can sometimes feel the struggles of taking care of children that cannot take care of themselves, the ministry village offers several support avenues such as a Clothes Closet, association meetings, Continuing Education Classes and hosting special events throughout the year. Loganville Community Ministry Village is dedicated to helping their local community with the multiple resources they have available now and with additional services that are planned in the future.
