Las Vegas Market is a world-class experience that’s simple, efficient, and exciting for exhibitors, designers, and buyers. All in a cross-category shopping environment for a gift, home dÊcor, and furniture. My Design Agenda is going to show you everything you need to know about this furniture event.

WHEN & WHERE

Las Vegas Market is known for being one of the biggest furniture and home decor markets in the Western United States. The Winter edition of the event took place from January 27th to the 31st of the same month, and now everything is getting all set for the upcoming Summer edition, which is happening From July 28th to August the 1st.

The Las Vegas Market has been launched in 2005 and since then it grew to become known as the biggest furniture, home decor and gift market in the USA. Within the showcase, many visitors can find in every edition a variety of Styles regarding furniture, home decoration items, and gifts.

The World Market Center Campus, where the event takes place, features a huge encompassing of 40 floors of home furniture and other relevant items, such as wall art, floor coverings, housewares, home textiles and more.

WHAT YOU CAN’T MISS

For five days this bespoke event will be setting a series of trends regarding furniture, decoration and other relevant design areas, defining many of the trends of the west, and also inviting many visitors worldwide to know and feel the colorful spirit of LA. This year the Summer edition will be giving

a strong step in the midst of 2019 with the announcement of a set of partnerships with over 50 retail and trade groups. of which we highlight two particular ones: the Fair Trade Federation and the Independent College Bookstore Association.

Another interesting move that the Las Vegas Market is taking is giving a bigger emphasis on the home staging category through a team-up with three industry-leading groups: The International Association of Home

Staging Professionals (IAHSP), Home Staging and Redesign Association (HSRA) and Real Estate Staging Association (RESA. These companies will be giving a new dynamic to the event with a series of talks.



There will also be two particular sessions to look out for. The first is “Protect Independent Stores with Retail Leadership� on July 28th. It will be moderated by Chris Solt (current executive director of FTF), along with Colleen Higginbotham (Chrysler Museum of Art). This will also be featuring the cooperation of panelists David Whitaker of North Carolina Zoo Society and Michael Davis of Zootique at Cameron Park Zoo.
