OUR CORE VALUES Our core values include the 4 C’s:
COLLABORATION
The Native Oral Health Network (NOHN) is the first oral health network in Oklahoma focusing on Native communities. We are advocates, educators, and professionals who know that oral health is essential to overall health and well-being, which is important in our tribal communities. NOHN provides a platform for resources, peer support, and community engagement. Join us in improving oral health and addressing health inequities within Native families.
• Improve the public perception of oral health
NOHN is funded through the Center of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion within the CDC under the grant “Building Public Health Infrastructure in Tribal Communities to Accelerate Disease Prevention and Health Promotion in Indian Country.
• To emphasize the connection of oral health to overall health and wellness • Collaboration and partnerships • Professional development and peer support • Promote prevention • Empower oral health leaders • Family engagement • Community support • Networking
