CUSTOMER SERVICE AT BRENNAN PARK; WHAT TO EXPECT... In keeping with current COVID protocols, drop in visits to Brennan Park Recreation Centre programs and activities are not possible. All customers must register in advance. We also ask that you register and pay online whenever possible. We are here to support all customers with online registration. We can help you set up an online account website: squamish.ca/programs-and-activities We are available by phone at 604.898.3604, 7 days a week from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. (reduced hours on Stat shift. We apologize for any delays answering or returning your call. We return all calls no later than the next business day. If an in-person visit to Customer Service is required (ie. buy bus tickets, pay for a registration using debit, cash or cheque), these hours are limited to: Monday - Friday:11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. 7 days/week: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Please come to the Pool entrance (south side of the building). The door greeter will help you line up safely for the front desk.

All programs require you to sign a COVID waiver. This waiver is not required for pool programs. Day Camp Programs also require a completed Medical Form and Informed Consent prior to participation.

Customers with existing 10 and 20 visit cards can use them to book spots for Household Swimming or Household Skating. To do this, call us at 604.898.3604. As long as a spot is available, we will book you into the time you’d like and remove the admission from your card (the same thing we’d do if you forgot your swipe card in the past). These visit cards do not expire.

ARENA COME SKATE WITH US Brennan Park Arena is open for public skates and lessons with COVID-19 safety measures in line with current Vancouver Coastal Health, Provincial Health Authority and British Columbia Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA) Restarting Guidelines.

All arena and program registrations must be made in advance. Drop-in visits are not permitted at this time.

Registration opens each Friday at 8 a.m. for sessions taking place the following week.

Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.

Please bring your own skates. Skate rentals are not available for public sessions at this time.

Grippers and skate aids are available for those that need them and will be sanitized after each use.

Are you 12 to 24 years old? PROGRAMS: Tuesday: Virtual Art Club 4-5:30 p.m., on Zoom – Explore a variety of art mediums from home with free supply delivery and zoom meetings! Wednesday: Virtual Dinner Club Deliveries 3-4 p.m., Zoom Call 4:30-6:30 p.m. Make dinner for your family and learn a new recipe together on zoom with ingredients delivered to your door. Thursday: Out Trip Committee 4-5 p.m. – Have your say and assist with planning future Youth Services out trips. Develop your leadership skills and have fun doing it!

A Little Bit About Youth Services: Programs and activities are for youth ages 12-18. Youth can reach out to us for information on mental health and primary care resources. We can provide bus tickets! Ask us about it. All programs are supervised by experienced youth workers. All programs adhere to provincial COVID-19 regulations as well as Sea to Sky Community Services agency COVID-19 protocols. All participants must sign our Consent and Liability form and Youth Services COVID-19 Protocols in order to partipate in programs.

We heard your feedback and starting in January the hot tub will reopen as a warm tub (same temperature as teach pool) to be booked as a household swim. All swim lessons will be taught with an instructor on deck. mandatory parent/caregiver participation. The parent/caregiver is now accountable for ensuring the child is safe in the water, which reduces contact with the instructor. All preschool levels must be a one-to-one ratio of child-to-parent/caregiver in the water during the entire duration of the lesson. Swim Kids lessons 5-10 are conducted without a parent/caregiver and the instructor will teach on deck. This will ensure physical distancing for all swimmers and instructor.
