01THESIS - I.S.B.T, NOIDA

Aim of the project was to design an inter-state bus terminal for Noida. The bus terminal is combined with a shopping complex which will help in boosting the economic activity of the region Segregated local and interstate bus bays are provided. Circulation is designed in such a way that pedestrian movement doesn’t intersect with bus or vehicular movement Passive design techniques are used to provide maximum thermal comfort and enhance ventilation.

02ARTIST’S HOUSE A contemporary house designed for an artist residing in gautam buddh nagar. A simple ferro concrte shell structure supported by a series of framing arches. The form is inspired from the form of sea shells Passive design techniques are used to provide thermal comfort while providing maximum natural light

03 ZOSTEL A youth hostel located in hamirpur. himachal pradesh made up of recyled shipping containers. Aim was to provide maximum interior comfort with limited space. Using only 10 shipping containers The containers are arranged to allow views from all sides. The arrangement also provides private balcony spaces at first floor and terrace spaces on second floor.

2 shipping containers placed adjacent to each other gives a space of 6X7m.

Placing 2 pairs of containers adjacent to each other from the mid point of one container.

Rotating the containers to controll lighting and views. Finally the containers are stacked on over other in the reverse order.

04 PAVILION Wilderness pavilion design for amboseli national park, located in kajiado county, kenya Concept of the pavilion is based on patterns and curves Catenoid shaped walls are used with circular columns to support the ramp seating is provided in the form of an opposing curve to the ramp

The pavilion provides a shadead walkway along south-west side allowing tourist to enjoy views from south to west direction while avoiding direct sunlight.

The walled side of the pavilion is inspired from the catenoid form. Plants provided at the bottom edge recieve direct sunlight.

Seating area is created proportionaly opposing to the cuve of the ramp. Central space is converted to an accesible green area.
