- In a few years, Newark, New Jersey is to host the world‘s largest indoor vertical farm.

- The farm is a collaborative effort of aerofarms – an urban agricultural company in partnership with the property management firm - RBH

Group, Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group, Prudential Financial

Inc., the City of Newark and the New Jersey Economic Development

Authority (NJEDA) was also involved in the multi-million dollar deal. - Almost 30 million dollars was invested for the development of this farm. - The farm is to utilize the technologies like aeroponics- which involves cultivation in soil free environments.
