International Competition | Tiny House | January 2024
In collaboration with: Kshitij Wadhwa
Site Location: Bhoramdeo, Chhattisgarh
Brief: To design a Tiny House, whose area should not exceed 300 sq. ft, for 2 people that would provide a comfortable living space.
Bhoramdeo district is a hidden gem in Chhattisgarh, where towering trees and bright peaceful days meet nights brimming with stars. Its tranquil beauty sets the perfect stage for a dwelling rooted in the local landscape.
This 8 x 3 (meter) dwelling employs strategic plinth moderation, skillfully crafting various degrees of privacy and integrated seating and platforms that exude its indigenous character.
The facade achieves a nuanced gradient of openness, ranging from mud walls to a roll-up fabric screen beneath a translucent corrugated polycarbonate roof. This creates a dynamic interplay of shadows and re昀氀ections from the surrounding wilderness. This tiny haven offers a glimpse into the authentic charm of Bhoramdeo and a connection with its life and spirit.

Design Studio | Meditation Centre | April 2023
Project: Individual
Site Location: Leh, Ladakh
Brief: To design a Meditation Centre
In the land of high passes, every step is a story waiting to unfold. This is one of a meditation retreat, a sanctuary designed to harmonize with its breathtaking surroundings. Inspired by my visit to Ladakh, I aimed to weave traditional rammed earth and timber into this space, re昀氀ecting the region’s rich architectural heritage.
Nestled on the same hill as Shanti Stupa, the retreat subtly echoes the serene aesthetics of Buddhist monasteries, with a gradient guiding visitors to secluded meditation cells. It’s an attempt to integrate modern insulation while prioritizing local materials and context.
This project utilizes the site’s natural contours to enhance visibility and foster a deep connection with the landscape, inviting each visitor to embark on their own journey of inner peace and re昀氀ection.

Competition | Residential Apartment | October 2023
In collaboration with: Mahi Jain
Site Location: Raipur, Chhattisgarh
Chosen Brief: To design a Residential Apartment
This apartment design project seeks to maximize space within a limited area by playing with levels and incorporating intermediate 昀氀oor levels or sort of entresols. This creates personal areas for residents, encouraging solitude and hobbies. An attempt to foster a dynamic spatial experience by the exploration of various forms and heights, enhancing visibility and connectivity throughout the design.
The surrounding buildings’ heights being relatively low provided an added opportunity to facilitate effective cross ventilation and abundant natural light. Openness of the staircase was prioritized to maintain a strong connection to street life, avoiding the disconnection often caused by internal staircases.
An intend to create a balance between private retreat and community engagement, re昀氀ecting the importance of a home that nurtures both individuality and connection.
