We are all a part of this vast universe and yet the universe itself, things we have only recently started to realise. As an individual I feel responsible to express myself and my understanding of things, for everyone in here, through art, writing, architecture and other forms of expression. I believe it is this that reaffirms our humanness and brings us all together.

RESIDENTIAL BUNGLOW, KHADAKWASLA
BRIEF The design requires us to make the most important aspect of human life, which is a home. The house is a residential bunglow, located in the midst of a nature abode, which is in close proximity to the Kadakwasla Dam. Hence, it enables us to include and/or highlight spaces with respect to it. The residential bunglow here has been designed considering the requirements of doctor, hence a clinic has also been provided for the professional needs of the doctor.
In the section, the twigs making up the nest are the positive space of the nest and the remaining space is the negative space beng utilised.
The negative space aspect is extracted and utilised as another space in itself.
CONCEPT EVOLUTION
The positive space is evolved into a polygonal form. The negative space is the exterior attraction, much like a symbolism to the dam, which attracts habitat and provides shelter.
concept The exterior walls are made with stone masonry. The swimming pool is a representation of the bigger body of water which is the Khadakwasla Dam.
The site is located in Khadakwasla, which is a much greener and fresher place than the urban city setting. The space establishes a connection to the flaura and fauna. The home of nature is where we are establishing a human home. Nests are homes for birds like we stay in structures. A nest is a natural habitat made by a bird, using the materials which are available at an easy disposal. This house is made using the natural materials available in the area. SITE PLAN

HOSTEL FOR THE WORKING CLASS
BRIEF Hostels are generally designed for students, but not for older people. Working Class people are people who travel far from home in search of jobs. For their comfrot and ease a project like this was proposed. The proposed location is near an IT park, which would mean more working class individuals requiring spaces to stay, that too in the vicnity of the IT hub. This one of a kind project provides for comfort and to an individual.

Housing is an important aspect of our day to day live and even the most treasured experience. Staying with the people we love is therapeutic sometimes. Family is what makes a home out of a flat.

Due to our work commitments, some people stay away from families for a long time. To bridge the gap between family and work, Institutional housing was proposed.
INTERNAL ROAD
The site located in the campus of Dr D Y Patil Institute, in the developing area of Lohegaon. The hosuing was proposed for all branches of the campus catering to all the delegations from the Principle to the professors to the peon. LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE
BRIEF An old age home was designed on the site and the assignment required us to design the landscape appropiartely for the old age users. Considering their requirements as well as taking care of environmental factors and strategies.
concept JAPANESE GARDEN The older people prefer a place close to nature and something that comforts them. A place that makes them feel away from the rush of life and relaxes them.
VISUAL GARDEN- VIBGYOR A visual garden, with the plantation arranged in an ascending order in the shades of VIBGYOR, so every shade can be seen.
SENSORY GARDEN The way to comfort the older users was to incorporate nature in a way all the senses of the people were stimulated. There are various sensory gardens based on all the senses.
JAPANESE GARDEN WITH STORMWATER MANAGEMENT Rainwater discharge and storage facilities, due to seasonal water body.
Sections through the site depicting the underground storage, preventing evaporation of water.

ECO NIWAS COMPETITION
BRIEF The eco-nivas competition aimed to target the young architects and incorporate the idea of greener and healthier living spaces, without being mechnically operated. WIth the increase in modernisation, we observe that there is an increase in pollutants caused due to heating and cooling of spaces. There is also an ignorance in the planning of self-ventilated and environmentally responsive spaces. This competition encouraged us to design a climate responsive house with optimum openings, in the warm and humid climate of Mumbai. Certain use of materials and their comprehensive use, can give us a temperature controlled environment.

HAND EXPRESSION
Sketching and painting are the rawest form of expression for humans. Even when we lack words, we are able to express through lines, shapes and most of all through colours. Expression is sacred and true to the nature of human as we can see and feel. When one feels, one needs to express.
OTHER SKETCHES
Everyone chooses different forms of expression, some paint, sketch some write, some through music. I choose lines, dots, paints and words to express the true essence of my being.

WRITING
Expressing using words is an art. I wish to learn more of it, to reach out to people who feel similarly about things. Expressing a piece of slightest thought so as to keep the moment tracked in the course of time, and is always there to look back upon.
