SOPRANO
Nazan Fikret was born in the UK to Turkish and Irish parents. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under Penelope Mackay and later Yvonne Kenny. Nazan is a 2015 Making Music AYCA Winner, Concordia Foundation Artist, a Britten Pears Young Artist and a recipient of an International Opera Awards Bursary
Recent highlights include First Lady TheMagicFlute (Welsh National Opera); Queen of the Night Die Zauberflöte (Glyndebourne, Opera på Skäret, Garsington Opera); Elin Agreed, a new community opera (Glyndebourne); acclaimed performances as Anne Trulove TheRake’sProgress, Teofane Ottone and Blonde The Abduction from the Seraglio (English Touring Opera); and Arasse Siroe,redePersiaand Handel’s Messiah(Nederlandse Reisopera). This season she makes her debut at Opera North and Opera Poznań as Queen of the Night
Gweneth Ann Rand
SOPRANO
Gweneth Ann Rand trained at the University of Exeter, Goldsmith's College and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. During her training she received the Maggie Teyte, Ian Fleming and Sybil Tutton Awards. She was a Vilar Young Artist at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and in 2001 represented England at BBC Cardiff Singer of the World. She is currently an Associate Artist at Wigmore Hall.

Rhonda Browne MEZZO SOPRANO
Rhonda Browne’s passion for singing began with the internationally acclaimed New Zealand Youth Choir, and in 2004 she relocated to London to pursue a solo career. Subsequently Rhonda was awarded the London Wagner Society’s BayreuthBursary and Audience Prize, was a finalist in the 2014 Royal Opera House JetteParkerYoungArtistProgrammeauditions, and studied on the Singers ofTomorrowprogramme at the National Opera Studio.
Recent and future engagements include The Witch HanselandGretelLyric Opera Ireland; Schwertleite DerRingdesNibelungen(Longborough Festival Opera; and covers Erda in Barrie Kosky’s new production of DasRheingold(The Royal Opera). This seasons she makes her debut at the Royal Ballet & Opera as Filipyevna EugeneOnegin.
Monwabisi Lindi TENOR
Monwabisi Lindi Monwabisi Lindi was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa where he studied with Pierre du Toit at the Tshwane University of Technology, he is also a recent graduate of the National Opera Studio. During the covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020 he was awarded a tenor prize in the VoicesofSouthAfrica singing competition.
During the 2023/24 season he was an Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera, where he performed Zweiter Schäfer Daphne and Gastone La traviata He also covered Count Almaviva, performing the role in Access performances of The BarberofSeville.
Other engagements include Charles Edward, covering the title role Candide (Scottish Opera); Lord Chamberlain The Spectre Knight (Wexford Festival Opera); and Vitellozzo LucreziaBorgia (English Touring Opera). He has also covered Chevalier Belfiore IlviaggioaReims(English Touring Opera); Elvino Lasonnambula(Buxton International Festival); and Policeman/Congregant 2 Blue(English National Opera).

Mark Nathan BARITONE
British baritone Mark Nathan is a graduate of Birmingham University, the Royal College of Music, and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He is a former Emerging Artist at Scottish Opera.
Recent highlights include Schaunard Labohème, Maximilian Candide(Welsh National Opera); Giuseppe The Gondoliersand Mr Goldbury Utopia Ltd (Scottish Opera); Hunter Rusalka, Guglielmo OperaFirst Così fan tutte (Garsington Opera); Wagner Faust(Irish National Opera); and and Schaunard in a film version of Robin Norton-Hale’s Olivier Award-winning La bohèmeproduced by Finite Films. He made his debut with English Touring Opera in the 2024/25 season.
Trevor Eliot Bowes BASS
Lyric bass Trevor Eliot Bowes was born in Victoria, Canada and studied at the University of Toronto, the Banff Centre for the Arts, the Britten-Pears Young Artists Programme and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He is also an alumnus of Barbara Hannigan’s Equilibrium Young Artist programme.
Recent highlights include Alidoro LaCenerentola(Nevill Holt Opera); Polifemo Aci, Galatea e Polifemo (OAE/Valletta Baroque Festival); Colline La bohème (English Touring Opera); Sergeant of Police ThePiratesofPenzanceand Ein Lakai AriadneaufNaxos(Opera Holland Park); Odin TheMonstrousChild(Royal Opera House); Father Trulove TheRake’sProgress(Münchner Philharmoniker); and Mozart Requiem(Toronto Symphony Orchestra) In the current season he makes his debut with the London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Vladimir Jurowski.
