Adversities comes in many different forms: Physical, mental, emotional, social, financial, professional, economical, political..

Everyone face some form of adversity from time to time.

•

Some thrive while others fails recover or struggle.

•

What matters is how your react and deal with the situation at hand, knowing how to go past the challenges, barriers, disappointments and bounce back.

BACKGROUND JOURNEY & EXPERIENCE •

Integrating in the UK from Rwanda after the war and genocide – Overcoming culture shift and shock, learning the new landscape and starting a new life hasn’t been easy but did not stop me from achieving my aspirations.

•

Entrepreneurial personality and characteristics – Sometime clashes with environment where not fit or value is not driven or the aim which has resulted me leaving certain jobs and starting my consulting company. Have a passion to deliver impactful activities, perused mentor in partnership with various initiative (BSEEN, Bloomberg AWEC and Tony Elumelu Africa Entrepreneurship Programme), consultant and advisor for many start-ups and started my business (SSCG) and own initiative such (One Africa Network) and AfBCC.

Analyse Situation - Take responsibility, accept and reconcile Set Right Mindset - Positivity, mentally prepared and focus on the bigger picture, goals, purpose, passion and vision Plan, set Goals and Control your Life – “Success is where preparedness meet opportunities” Stay Confident, Courageous and Resilient Refuse to Give Up – Take risks, wake from failures. Don’t take no for answer. Find new way to win. “Tough times build stronger people”. Prioritise and do the necessity - Value actions, time management. Build Re/Brand - integrity, trust, excellence and reputation Network – Get out and make smart, meaningful and valuable connections – “Your network is your net worth” Embrace and Develop - learn, up-skill, and stay current with trends Promote and market yourself – Showcase your talent and expertise, expose and engage in activities, travel to learn. Capitalise - opportunities, resources and support available

Our adversities don’t define us. However, the way we handle them does.

We develop courage through adversity. Strength comes from overcoming the impossible

Challenging or hardest moments are your greatest opportunities to learn, transform and thrive. “Sometime adversity is what you need to face in order to be successful”

Let no one or nothing limit your career, ambitions and aspirations

Take action, don’t be afraid to fail. Better try and fail than fail to try. Doing nothing and staying in the comfort zone is not an option, costly and risk
