Eleven years ago, I sat under a mango tree in Uganda with Mary, Mercy, and Rebecca making strappy sandals and dreaming about a brighter future. Today, that scrappy little sandal project is an international lifestyle brand creating community and opportunity for women all across the globe, including right here at home. Somewhere beyond our wildest imaginations, our darkest doubts, our insecurities, our wounds, and our naysayers. Beyond me and you, there is us. And we are better together.
