CONCEPT
The design statement, Harmoni resonansi gendang tabuik which translates to Tabuik drum resonance harmony by an annual parade called Tabuik that originated from Pariaman, West Sumatra. The parade used drums as musical instruments as a part of it's celebration. The drums createdarepetitivesoundandformaharmonioussoundresonance.
Theharmonyreferredtohereisappliedtothedesignofeachareaofthehotelwhichissustainable and complements one another. The hotel interior uses many geometric shapes that are linked backtolocalcontentthathasbeenprocessed.
