Season 87 is all about exploring the sounds that reflect the incredible spirit of our home. We take pride in our commitment to Canadian artists and our work to bring Saskatchewan guests to the front of the stage. Furthering the boundaries of sound and developing new artists and new ideas is a big part of who we want to be and where we want to go. We need to capture Our Prairie Voice. With your donation to our Share in the Future campaign, we can realize the dream of recording music that is meaningful to us with artists whose work we love. From masterworks to music that must be heard, the SSO invites you to be part of our new season. Be present. Be challenged. Be inspired.
Share in the Future – Sharing Our Music The SSO has become one of the most vibrant and exciting cultural institutions in Canada. We need your help as it’s time to take our music beyond our stage. We have big plans for the funds raised through your gifts to the campaign. The Our Prairie Voice recording series will allow the SSO to capture the musical revolution taking place in Saskatoon. It creates work for our musicians, it creates a new revenue stream for our organization, and it creates a chance for us to share what’s happening in Saskatoon with Canada and beyond. With the generous support of the Frank and Ellen Remai Foundation, all donations of $100 or more made before May 31 will be matched. With 1,000 donations of $100, we can realize our dream. Donors to the campaign will have exclusive access to a recording session in the upcoming season.
