board technology For 2010, the new season at Liquid Force brings you more new innovations than ever before ---- new shapes, new graphic directions and treatments, and completely new materials and manufacturing methods. We offer more choices in delivering the magic stick for whatever riding conditions you encounter, or wish to challenge in your present and future riding journeys. We are incredibly fortunate to work with the most diverse, imaginative, and creative riders in the sport. From wakeskaters who school wakeboarders at BroStock, to rail riders bringing their magic to the cable water-skate parks, to our wakeboarders who push themselves to continually redefine the sport --- their collective feedback makes Liquid Force product development an on-going quest to give these guys the goods. Their need for the “right” board has pushed us to create several styles of boards to maximize fun, performance, and durability for each of the particular riding environments and styles.

Liquid Force offers four types of construction to give you the ultimate number of choices in determining the best board for you and your riding world.

FLY

STANDARD – the standard by which all wakeboards have been built for all-around

riding performance and durability. This type of construction method is used on all of our mens, womens, and kids wakeboards in a wide variety of glass layups to achieve the best board for everyday use. Starting with a precisely calibrated PU core, these boards are wrapped in our time-tested glass lay-ups for the needs of each board model category.

F.L.Y. – the lightest construction process on the best shapes available. The F.L.Y. Series are designed from the inside out to deliver you the highest performance in the lightest materials with the greatest strength. With a computer milled PVC core at its heart, each F.L.Y. model is fitted with its own internal parabolic quad-carbon stringer system to work in unison with a custom lay-up designed for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio and performance. HYBRID – combining our unique hull designs with the flex properties of sidewall construction, Liquid Force creates the HYBRID series. Using our new sidewall construction coupled with precisely designed, and proven hull shapes, the new LF Hybrids give riders boards that work great in the parks and unreal wake-to-wake. The lively flex offers a more springy pop off the wake, and softer landings. With our crisp hull shapes of clean and flex construction, you can get the best of both worlds in one board. GRIND – boards built for daily park riding and abuse.

LF was the first to introduce our Grind technology on some team test boards a few years ago. With some refinements and stoked feedback, we have expanded the offering to 13 models for 2010. These shapes have been ridden hard at parks all over the world, and the GRINDS have proven strong. Our 2010 Grinds feature an incredibly strong, screen printed slider base to give these models added durability in a park environment. Grinds also work great wake-towake.
