Build Belonging

Welcome to our production of The Drowsy Chaperone! As we embark on this whimsical journey together, I want to take a moment to reflect on the theme of laughter as an essential element of belonging, which resonates deeply throughout this delightful musical.

At its core, The Drowsy Chaperone is a love letter to the traditions of musical theatre and the joy it brings. The story unfolds through the lens of the Man in Chair, who invites us into his world of nostalgia and escapism. As we navigate the hilarious antics and larger-than-life characters, we are reminded that laughter connects us and creates a sense of community, even during the most divisive times. I hope you find joy in our performance and feel a sense of belonging within our community, both onstage and in the audience.

Thank you for joining us on this enchanting ride. Here’s to laughter, belonging, and the spirit of musical theatre!

Warm regards,

The Drowsy Chaperone

THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
