EAST ART GALLERY - MEET THE ARTIST

My Pour Heart, owned and operated by Alan and Leslie Hazelwood (St. Luke’s UMC Facilities Coordinator), will be on exhibit showing their acrylic pour painting creations. Their one of a kind artworks are done on canvas, pottery, picture frames, salt & pepper shakers, and more. Leslie and Alan will be in the East Gallery on June 4th for the artist meet and greet.

Dementia Care Givers Support Group

JUNE 6 AT 6PM - NORTH INDY - SPIRITUAL LIFE CENTER

This support group is dedicated to providing assistance for those caring for individuals affected by memory loss, such as Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Both church members and members of the local community are invited to join us, as we come together to seek compassionate support, exchange valuable resources, and offer encouragement throughout our shared journey. Kids Vbs

Starting Point

Starting Point is a 30-minute orientation to St. Luke’s. You’ll meet others who are new and leave with a next step to help you find your place within the church. This is a great way to become familiar with who we are and how we live out our faith. No registration is needed.

Middle School Mayhem

JUNE 26-JUNE 30 • NORTH INDY CAMPUS

This week-long day camp gives middle schoolers (5th-8th grade) a chance to form new friendships, serve alongside their peers, learn more about faith in worship times designed specifically for them, and play all kinds of insane games. This year’s theme is Medieval Mayhem! We will talk about what it means to us that Jesus is “king,” debunking the bad narratives we’ve heard of kings and learning about the selflessness of the kingdom Jesus talks about. The Exploring Membership Class will help you learn more about the United Methodist Church and the process for formally joining St. Luke’s. Here you’ll learn more about who we are, our beliefs, and our mission. You’ll also get to hear the story of our church and discuss what it means to be a member of this local congregation through serving, growing in your faith journey, moving toward generosity, and more. Dementia Friends Workshop

The Dementia Friends Workshop builds awareness of and breaks down stigmas surrounding various forms of dementia and implements practical changes that make life easier to navigate for those with dementia and their loved ones. People with dementia need to be understood and supported in their communities. You can help by becoming a Dementia Friend. This event is limited to 12 participants. Exploring Faith Traditions
