END OF YEAR GIFTS All checks to be processed and posted to a contribution record for the current year should be given to St. Luke’s finance office or postmarked on or before Dec. 31, 2021. All donations or gifts postmarked after that date are not legally taxdeductible for 2021. The church office will be closed December 25 – January 3, and will likely be open January 4, 2022.


THERE’S STILL TIME TO PLEDGE We are close to our pledge goal of $4,885,000. If you have not submitted your pledge, please know how important it is in assisting our Finance Committee in finalizing our 2022 budget. To return your pledge you can mail in or drop off the physical card that was mailed to your home, call it in to 317-846-3404, or submit it electronically at stlukesumc.com/give.

NEW YEAR’S EVE LABYRINTH WALK FRIDAY, DECEMBER 31 • 5PM • FELLOWSHIP HALL Usher in the New Year with a time of remembering 2021 and looking forward to 2022. Perhaps choose a word for 2022 and contemplate how that word will be evidenced in your life as you walk. If you have never walked a labyrinth, someone will be present to introduce you to the practice. Vaccination required. Registration is not required. This year, we’ll be looking ahead five years out to see what’s in store for St. Luke’s and how you can be involved. DREAMKEEPERS PANEL MONDAY, JANUARY 17 • 11AM • ZOOM Join St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on Monday, January 17 as we honor the legacy and the lessons of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in our second annual DreamKeepers panel discussion. This gathering of justice thought leaders will explore the ways in which King’s call for equity and anti-racism translates to economic, educational, political, and community development initiatives today. YOUNG ADULTS GATHERING THURSDAY, JANUARY 20 • 7M • DOUGHNUTS AND DRAGONS Join up with other Young Adults from St. Luke’s and the Indy community to have fun, make new connections, and enjoy some yummy donuts. This month we’ll be hosting a very important conversation about Covid and grief. Rev. Regina Proctor will be here to answer questions and present helpful information during this time. You do not need to register. We encourage you to bring a friend! MIDDLE SCHOOL INVITE NIGHT: GAME FRENZY FRIDAY, JANUARY 21 • 6:30PM • THE LODGE Invite Night is an on-campus event with crazy themes open to 5th-8th graders and their friends in the community. We always have snacks, worship, teaching, and shenanigans all evening long! This fun party will include food, candy, games, and time to hang out with your friends. The cost is only $5 but guests are FREE! If you are a guest, just leave the payment section in the registration blank. Registration is strongly encouraged but we will always accept walk-ins!
