The Junior Varsity Schedule this year included four pre-season games and ten Riverside League Games. In the pre-season games, the J. V. played and lost two times to Fortier, 32-23; 40-30. They redeemed this by twice defeating Nicholls, 2'1-16; 39-32. The first two league games did not encourage the boys, for their efforts did not bring them victory. These games, however, made them play all the harder and they didn't lose another game the whole season! The J. V. averaged 36 points a game while their opponents averaged just 23. Another interesting statistic is that for every 10 points the Saints made, their opponents ratio was 4. Had they won the first or second game, they'd have been in the league play-offs.
