The class of 1989 re-scheduled and re-scheduled the annual "sleepover" because of rain, but finally, the bad weather ceased and the sleepover occurred on May 10, 1989. Tents, sleeping bags and bodies were strewn across the quad Thursday morning as the sun came up. Needless to say, the sleepy-eyed seniors sluggishly made their way to their classes, and the sleepover was a success!

The Literary Rally is an annual academic competirion which allows students to demonsffate superior academic achievement in a number of subject areas. Faculry members selec their sffongest students to tepresent St. Martin's at the District Rally held at UNO. Here they compere against students ftom 27 other Division III high schools. At the State Rally held in Baton Rouge, winners then have the chance to pit their wits against the best in the state.
