ACADEMIC ACKNOWLEDGEMENT Employees and employers undertaking our CPD courses will gain and accumulate academic credits (Up to 30 per course of study) from Staffordshire University in the area studied. When a student completes all 4 modules within the course, these credits can then be recognised as prior learning and used as a progression pathway to a wide range of high-level courses, including higher and degree apprenticeships. So, if you have high aspirations for lower qualified employees, it can be a great first step to building employee profiles from a junior level to senior level in both operations and management.
WHAT QUALIFICATION CAN BE ACHIEVED? Our CPD courses are taught at a variety of different levels. Courses run at a minimum Level 4 (first year degree level), right up to postgraduate masters level 7. CPD SHORT COURSE
This course looks at how current trends are used in the development of websites. It looks at both scripting and mark-up languages. Students will develop knowledge of how to design, implement and test aspects of a webpage. Students will learn about topics of: Design (Web Standards / W3 and where we are, Web Graphics Concepts - Graphics and Compression, Design Tools / Rapid Prototypes, Web Design Concepts, Accessibility, Testing for web sites such as Compliance, Browser and Accessibility, Responsive Web Design and current trends, and the Impact of the web on businesses and the public).
