On behalf of all the staff and students in the Staffordshire University community, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the foremost digital and emerging industry higher education institution – Staffordshire University London’s Digital Institute.

Established as a satellite campus that concentrates the award-winning Staffordshire University tech and digital expertise, the Digital Institute is evolving every day. From our location in the UK capital and right in the centre of the bustling creative Here East campus in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the Digital Institute is taking the next step in creating and delivering courses dedicated to emerging industries and graduate employability.

It’s a truly exciting time to be a student at the Digital Institute, and in this guide, you’ll find a snapshot of the things we have to offer at Staffordshire University London. Including our £3.5m campus transformation, which brings together brand-new opportunities to take advantage of, and new social and working spaces for our ever-growing community.

From esports to computer science, cyber security and AI, we’re proud to offer you a unique portfolio of courses specifically designed to take you into industry in the big city environment. As our transformation brings in new and exciting course opportunities, we are constantly working to ensure that our entire offering is regularly audited and developed in line with our partners within industry, and our team of globally experienced academics from across the institution – keeping us ahead of innovation driven enterprises and new evolutions in technology. Within recent years we have established facilities at the Digital Institute to match real-world technological working environments, from large open plan working spaces with the latest computer systems and software, to a professionally rigged Esports Arena and broadcasting Control Room. There’s more too, in 2021 we levelled up the Digital Institute to include the Digital Loft and the Data Junction, two spaces kitted out with the latest in hardware and software designed to test and perfect your skills in the cyber industries.

We are more than just technology and courses though at Staffordshire University London, we are a community of experts, students, and professionals that goes the extra mile to program, create and design the technologies and systems of tomorrow.
