Art + People
The project focuses on creating a multifunctional space that provides artists with dedicated areas to create and store their work, while offering visitors a unique experience to observe the artistic process from a distance. The space fosters a connection between the creation, storage, and display of art, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding nature and the urban fabric, creating a dynamic and interactive environment.
The design facilitates smooth movement and connection between artists’ workshops, storage, and administration areas, allowing for an efficient flow of creative work and operations.
The structure uses steel beam truss systems to distribute loads, reducing the need for columns and allowing for open, flexible spaces in the museum to display a variety of art.
The walls are cast in place using concrete poured on-site for structural strength. They consist of an inner concrete layer, waterproofing membrane, an air gap for ventilation, insulation for energy efficiency, and an exterior layer of glass and metal for light and durability.

Hey Neighbor addresses the isolation often felt in typical city apartments by breaking up large residential blocks with courtyards and green paths, creating opportunities for connection. It fosters a sense of community through shared spaces, flexible social areas, and local businesses where residents can interact, collaborate, and engage with one another.

Modern Produce Store
This project envisions a modern grocery store that redefines community access to fresh produce by integrating food growth, storage, and distribution in a single, sustainable space. Utilizing underground facilities for natural cooling, it provides an innovative approach to fresh food markets, ensuring accessibility and food security for all, especially in areas affected by food deserts.
Exploded Axonametric - NTS
This project explores innovative sustainable materials, such as 3D-printed willow bark as a structural alternative to concrete, and cork for natural water retention systems.

Breaking Down Boundaries By Exchanging Space.
The project aims to transform an urban block into a shared public realm, addressing the challenges of a rapidly constructed city. By introducing green spaces, fostering new social interactions, and cultivating a sense of belonging, the initiative seeks to create a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment.

Athens Postwar Living Conditions
Athens’ postwar development led to a rapidly constructed city characterized by dense living and a lack of planning for open or green spaces. Fences and physical borders further fragmented neighbourhoods, dividing blocks and isolating communities.
By sharing and re-purposing spaces, communities can foster collaboration while creating opportunities for growth and self-sufficiency.
New shared spaces, such as salons, micro-farms, carpentry workshops, and other communal facilities, would not only strengthen social ties but also generate jobs and additional income for residents, transforming neighbourhoods into hubs of creativity, sustainability, and economic resilience.

PROPOSED SHARED SPACES
While we cannot undo Athens’ rapid postwar development, we can focus on developing its underutilized spaces to create more opportunities for community and growth.
The ground floor offers one avenue for transformation, but rooftops provide an additional layer of potential to re-imagine underused areas.
By re-purposing these spaces for social gathering, micro-businesses, and green areas, we can foster more sustainable living and stronger community connections, addressing the city’s needs without erasing its past.
