{W HAT’S THE BUZZ } Wondering what this whole bee thing is about? Our university is named after the patron saint of learning, Saint Ambrose, who was known for his “honey tongued” speaking ability. Bees are a symbol of his verbal skill. The university’s mascot, the Fighting Bee, pays homage to the saint and is the only one of its kind among college teams. Want to learn more about Saint Ambrose, the Bees and other Ambrosian traditions? Click on www.sau.edu/bees
