Additionally, Davis County is home to Utah’s largest employer, Hill Air Force Base, which employs 27,650 personnel, providing approximately $1.43 billion in jobs and creating a $3.7 billion total economic impact.
Approximately 173,000 people are employed as part of the Davis County workforce. The county added 3,242 new jobs in the 12 months ending in March 2020. That is a growth of 2.5 percent, which exceeds both the state average of 1.7 percent and the national average of 0.8 percent.
