TEEN SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2023: ALL TOGETHER NOW

Teen Drawing Contest

Ages 12-18

Draw a single or multi-paneled comic strip, create your own character or draw a book illustration. All artwork will be displayed at the Main Library. The public will vote on their favorite pieces. Drawings can be submitted to any library location beginning June 1 and ending July 31. For more information, call 801-337-2660.

Teen Writing Contest

Submit a sample piece of writing in any of the following categories: Original Fiction, Poetry, Non ction, Memoir or Fan ction. Entries will be judged within two separate age groups: 12-14 and 15-18. Winning entries will be posted on the library’s website for others to enjoy. Entries can be submitted at any library location beginning June 1 and ending July 31. WEBER READS 2023: INDIGENOUS VOICES

In conjunction with Ogden City’s free summer lunch programs in June, join Weber County Library sta for an activity and a free book to kick o our 2023 community reading program. Watch for school or park locations as these are announced. For more information, call Carlos at 801-337-2646.

Steam Club

Activities exploring STEAM (science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics) for elementary school-aged children. Younger siblings must be supervised by a caregiver.

Yoga For Families

This class is designed to help children and their caregivers build self-con dence, develop strength and exibility, and manage emotions and anxiety.

Story Fiesta

Youth Game Club

Players are invited to learn and play a variety of board and video games. Games promote collaboration, inquiry, critical thinking and are just plain fun.
