Established in 1970, St Andrew’s Episcopal Academy is a fully accredited PreK-2 through Grade 12 private school situated along the Indian River downtown Fort Pierce. The Academy offers a wide range of academic programs designed to prepare students to meet their career and college goals.

TECHNOLOGY St. Andrew’s has been a 1:1 iPad school for the past three years. But there is so much more to being a high tech school than students having an iPad. In order to really generate high quality educational experiences students have to be able to do more than use a tablet, some apps, and emailing capabilities‌Upper School students use laptops to create work, tablets or smart phones for convenience in displaying or sharing that work. Students today need to know how to research online, how to communicate effectively; they need to use a very wide variety of tools beyond what a display device such as a tablet can provide. We provide access to online texts, apps, videos, online assessments, collaboration tools, video conferencing and study groups, tutorials, virtual labs, and much more.

SCIENCE

EXPLORE

We offer a strong science program with a wide range of curriculum offerings for all academic levels. In addition, St. Andrew’s students work alongside scientists at The Smithsonian to research our waterways in a partnership with The Smithsonian. Approved at the national level, our marine science program has been a student favorite! The captain brings students to science classes where they work alongside the scientists, collecting data for research on our waterways.

THE ARTS

EXPRESS YOURSELF STRINGS Students begin our Strings program in second grade, and thanks to a partnership with The Sunrise Theatre, our performances take place in the professional Black Box setting! Are you a budding performer? Our Theatre program is strong…Join us for the show of a lifetime!

Partnerships with Art Mundo and Artist’s Studios downtown provide St. Andrew’s students with a fabulous opportunity to engage with real artists every day.

TIRED OF CAFETERIA FOOD? St. Andrew’s Upper School students walk downtown to eat lunch at area restaurants, thanks to great business partners like Yellow Tail Grille, 2nd Street Bistro, Uncle Carlo’s Gelato, Importico’s Bakery, and more!

ATHLETICS

St. Andrew’s students can enjoy volleyball, soccer, basketball, golf, sailing, rowing, cross country, track, bowling, swimming, cheerleading, and much more! With our new “Master Plan” students will see a regulation soccer field, lacrosse, and baseball added to our sports programs in the very near future. Thanks to a partnership with the Treasure Coast Sailing Association and our great location on the water, students can enjoy sailing right outside our classrooms!
