HONORING OUR FANS AND THEIR MUSTANGS
M A G A Z I N E
Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

I had an 08 Vapor Silver Shelby GT500 that I sold to buy this one. After I got this car, I couldn’t leave well enough alone. I had my friends at VMP Performance up the horsepower. When they were done, it was putting out 700 horsepower and 706 torque at the wheels. This would equate close to 800 horsepower at the crank. I have been taking this car to the Mustang Club of America shows and taking gold in my class. I take it to a lot of car shows in the mid Missouri area and have taken first place quite often. This in my opinion is the best Shelby GT500 ever. It is a beast of a car and I love it!

My name is Roger Wilson and I live in Remsen, New York. I’ve always wanted a Mustang and being 75 years old, I figured it was time to own one. My 2007 Mustang GT is called the Blueagle. Her Vista Blue color caught my eye and I knew I had to have her. When I test drove her, she brought back my youth of yesteryears. Did I mention I’m 75 years old? The mods are light. It has a cold air intake, upgraded exhaust and brakes, dual racing strips front to rear and chrome engine dress up under the hood for an old school look with more to come I’m sure.

What I have done though is installed a JLT CAI painted to match the car, hood pistons painted, strut tower covers modified to fit around the Ford Racing strut brace, and a Blue oiled air filter from the Shelby Store in Vegas. I did Steeda billet lower control arms with repositioning brackets for better straighter launches. I have an axle back Borla ATAK exhaust system and lower subframe braces for rigidity welded at 8 points on each side. As far as power mods go, I didn’t go crazy because she had a lot of power to start. What I did do was use a smaller pulley on the supercharger along with the CAI, and a dyno tune at Real Speed Automotive. She went from stock 662/601 to 750/661 and puts down to the wheels 639whp.
