HOPE - 2008 WARRIORS IN PINK MUSTANG
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
HOPE IS SPREADING AWARENESS FOR BREAST CANCER...
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
This is “Hope”, my 2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang. Warriors In Pink Mustangs were a limited edition Mustang Ford manufactured from 2008-2009, designed exclusively in support of Susan G. Komen for the cure. Special features of these cars include a pink ribbon and pony fender badge, pink Mustang rocker tape stripe, pink stitching on the seats and steering wheel, and pink ribbon embroidered floor mats.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
Hope is one of 145 silver coupes made in 2008, and 1 of 1 with these options. Mods include a GT style grille with halo fogs, 30% tint, blackout decklid panel, Borla dual exhaust, Screamin Demon coil pack, pedal commander, Ford Performance 9 mm spark plug wires, strut tower brace, SR lowering springs, Koni shocks, and GT500 lower control arms. She may be “just a V6” but is a lot of fun! My favorite thing about Hope is spreading awareness for breast cancer and having survivors approach me and share their stories. I also attend Cruise for A Cause in the WI Dells each fall, where proceeds are donated towards breast cancer research. I have been part of the Iowa Mustangs Unstabled Club for three years and love the cruises and meeting other Mustang enthusiasts.
My passion for Mustangs began when my family rented a Mustang on vacation in FL in 2011. I got to drive it and fell in love. My mom got her Mustang in 2012 and I knew I wanted to have my own some day. In 2020, my dream finally became a reality.
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
