SPECIAL EDITION
Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
BEING SHOT OVER 200 TIMES IN A DOMESTIC DISPUTE...
The 1968 Mustang California Special was inspired by “Little Red” and “The Green Hornet”. Marketed in the western US as a cheaper version of the Shelby, it featured the same fiberglass rear deck lid and fender extensions made by A.O. Smith as the Shelbys. It has nonfunctional side scoops, quarter-turn hood lock pins, a louvered hood with turn signal indicators, body side stripes, a pop-off gas cap, a fiberglass rear panel to house the ’65 Thunderbird tail lights (non-sequential), and Marchal 656/322 fogs lights mounted in the blacked-out grille.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
After being shot over 200 times in a domestic dispute, thank goodness someone saved “Bonnie & Clyde” from the scrap yard. This completely restored Pony is Marti Report verified as the only Brittany Blue GT/CS with the “S” code 390 and 4 speed manual transmission! Although rebuilt, the power train is the original VIN stamped equipment. You may have seen her at the MCA Nationals in Lincoln, NE in 2018, the 2018 MCACN show in Chicago, or most recently the 2023

IT DIDN’T TAKE ME LONG TO REALIZE THE 1969 AND 1970 MUSTANG FASTBACK WAS NO DOUBT THE CAR FOR ME.
My desire for muscle cars started as a kid watching my neighbors work on their cars. The ones that caught my attention were the Dodge Chargers, Pontiac Firebirds, Chevy Camaros, and Ford Mustangs.
I always thought my dream car was a Camaro but as I was growing up, it didn’t take long for me to realize the 1969 and 1970 Mustang Fastback was no doubt the car for me. I was so impressed when Ford brought back the Mustang and used the 69/70 design in the S197 platform that I went out a bought a 2010 Mustang GT. The 2010 was a great car, but my 1970 Mustang Fastback, aka “Brandi” will always be my passion!
Brandi was originally painted Yellow #3470-A. She is now Grabber Blue. The original 302 2V with a C4 trans is now a 460 Big Block with a C6 trans. She is also equipped with 235/60 tires riding on Magnum 500 alloy wheels.

This is my 2011 S302 Saleen #18 with only 17,000 miles. I’ve owned this Saleen for 12 years and it stays in my heated garage. I do drive it to Carlisle, PA for the Ford Nationals. I don’t trailer my cars! Her name is CleanasF@%k. Completely stock!!No mods done. I’m located in Oceanside Long Island, NY and a member of Vicious Stangs of long Island.
I’ve owned Mustangs since 1989 when I was 17 years old. My first Mustang was 1987 white Notchback. Back then no one wanted a Mustang Notchback! Crazy how things have changed. I always loved the look, sound, and the drive is always great. My son is 16 years old and owns a 93 Mustang Convertible 5.0, manual with a 4 eye nose. He learned driving manual at 12 years old. Teach them young!

IT GOES TO EVERY CAR SHOW AND I GET TO SEE THE REACTION OF ALL THE PEOPLE BECAUSE OF HOW RARE IT IS...
I have been a Ford Mustang Fanatic before I could even drive. In my Senior year of high school my dad and mom bought me a 1986 Mustang GT which is beyond AWESOME. It went through tires like tanks of gas.
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
My next Mustang was a 2004 40th Anniversary Mustang which was completely pro built from front to back. It had two stages of Nitrous Outlet, Tremec TKO600, Stage 2 heads and Thumper cams, straight piped and ran 9.70 in the 1/4 mile.
Then this RARE 1 of 19 came into my possession and as you can see this is by far one of the BADDEST MUSTANGS you will ever see at any car shows. I took it to the Shift S3ctor Airstrip Attack in Marion, Indiana were it went 163 mph in the 1/2 mile. It goes to every car show and I get to see the reaction of all the people because of how RARE it is and they get to see it in person. Still cant believe that I have the privilege of owning this BAD ASS MUSTANG!
Mods include a 3.0 Liter Whipple Stage 2 supercharger, upgraded Whipple pulleys, upgraded fuel injectors and fuel pump, CarbonAero front splitter, CarbonAero side sills, CarbonAero rear spoiler with gurney lip, 20” Forgestar wheels, 15.1” Brembo 6-piston calipers front, 15.1” Brembo 4-piston calipers rear, complete lowered suspension, and Underglow-X lighting.

THIS YEAR, I GOT A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OFFER...
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. My name is Carmen Guerrero and I am from San Jose, California. This year, I got a once in a lifetime offer and that was purchasing this car from a top fuel dragster from Scrappers Racing. I now own a 2010 Mustang Roush Stage 2.
I’ve been a big Mustang fan since the day I laid eyes on a 1964 Candy Apple Red Convertible Mustang. I was probably about 12 years old. Ever since than I’ve occupied myself with Mustangs by reading magazines and building model cars.
The previous owner did all the mods to the car and they include LED tail lights, 24 inch rims, custom paint (Matte Black, Gloss Silver), and shaved handles and trunk.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
This is my 1966 Mustang Coupe that I call the 1966 Dark Horse aka “Lucille”. I have always loved cars even as a kid and I always wanted a black Mustang. Well, this is my first Mustang and I am hooked! This car has been a major journey to get it to where it is today, but a journey I would happily do again.
In 1966, this car started out as a red 6 cylinder with a 3-speed automatic transmission, now beautifully painted Raven Black with a 347 Stroker and a 4-speed Toploader manual transmission. Other than the painting, this has been a full garage build. It initially was purchased for being a weekend cruiser and maybe a few cars shows. Well that all quickly changed once I got a wrench in my hand. One thing led to another and now literally everything mechanical on the car has either been replaced and/or upgraded. All new fuel lines, break lines, SN95 front disk brakes, new rear brakes, master cylinder, rebuilt rearend with new gears and LSD, fully upgraded front and rear suspension, Shelby drop, subframe connectors, exhaust, and don’t forget the 347 Stroker to just name a few.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. ter gauges, full LED lighting, engine oil cooler, traction bars, Deluxe Pony seats, and the Flowmaster 10s and H-pipe help produce a beautiful sound, but with the electronic exhaust cutouts opened it will turn every head young and old.
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
I look forward to driving this Mustang every chance I get. I’d like to give a special thanks to my wife for being so understanding and supportive on my many late nights and weekends in the garage. If you’re ever in North Central Florida, make sure to keep an eye out. God Bless America!

The 347 was fully built in my garage and is a 1991 roller motor with a 10:1 compression, Scat rotating assembly, ICON forged pistons, Promaxx aluminum heads, upgraded valve springs, Holley 650 double pumper, RPM Air-Gap intake manifold, Comp Cams XE282HR cam, MSD billet distributor, Fel-pro gaskets, and all held together with all ARP bolts. All of this in a Mustang that weighs just over 2800 lbs and easily spins up to 6500 rpms.
Some of the other features/upgrades include 17x8 Torq Thrust II wheels, 5” touch screen, Kicker speakers, Autome-

THIS IS ONE OF THOSE MUSTANGS THAT WILL ALWAYS DRAW
My name is John Buczynski and this is my 2004 Mystichrome Cobra. I have been a Mustang fan for what seems like forever. Everything about the Ford Mustang is amazing, especially the Limited Edition models that come out through the years. One of the best and very rare special editions is the Mystichrome Cobra which I am very fortunate to now own.

I purchased this in 2013 from a gentleman with 15,725 miles on it. I now have 25,500 on it. This car is mostly stock but it has a cold air intake and subframe connectors on it. I just like the last year of this body style and this is one of those Mustangs that will always draw a crowd.

I’ve had Nadyine, my 2004 40th Anniversary Competition Orange Mustang GT, for 17 years now. Crazy how fast time has gone bye. I purchased the Mustang as I was closing one part of my life and starting a new from dealing with divorce and adjustment back to civilian life after serving in Iraq. Wherever I was going in life, sportscars always been a part of my life. I have fond memories of my childhood with my father, going to car shows and day dreaming of owning one.
I’ve done a lot of customizing. I had the interior done with orange inlay. I added, short headers, Magnflow X-pipe, and a Flowmaster cat-back system. It also has Eibach suspension upgrades front and rear, an aluminum drive shaft, Baer brakes upgrade front and rear, and custom painted stripes on the hood, wing, and license plate area. To top it off, I added TSW Caldwell staggered wheels.
It is definitely awesome owning a Mustang. The people you meet and the friendships, it’s like your second family. Some day I would like to pass Nadyine down to my daughter. I know she would maintain the level of care as I did knowing how

IT’S A GT REGENCY CONVERSION WITH SOME MODS FOR AUTOCROSS.
This is my 2008 Ford Mustang GT Regency, nicknamed “Phantom.”
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. Phantom has been my daily driver since high school in 2018. It’s a GT Regency conversion with some mods for autocross. I started with the goal to drag race with the car until I tried out autocross. After that I bought the Whiteline Grip series suspension and was hooked.
I recently did a 1,800+ mile drive with my local car club (Texas Stock Rally) from West Texas all the way to Colorado. We drove trough Pikes Peak and Mount Evans. After experiencing turns on those roads at the speeds we were going, it inspired me to look into track racing. My future plans with the car is to go to more autocross tracks and try out tracks like COTA.
Phantom is equipped with BBK Long tube headers, BBK cat X pipe, MBRP axlebacks, Ortiz Performance tune, Whiteline grip series suspension, Whiteline lowering springs, performance package rims, Pirelli P zero tires, and shaker hood with a cold air intake.

THE FASTBACK WAS RESTORED 27 YEARS AGO BY THE COMER FAMILY AND FRIENDS...
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
My first Mustang was a 2012 Shelby GT500 that I owned for six years. I sold the Shelby looking for a ‘67 or ‘68 Fastback but knew it would be very hard to find. I looked for a year and a half before my best friend Brian Suter told me he would sell his ‘68 Pro Street to me and the rest was history. I am the third owner of the ‘68 and have owned it for three years.
The car was found rotting away in a field and the decision at that time was made to Pro Street it because of the rough condition it was in. The Fastback was restored 27 years ago by the Comer family and friends out of Shenandoah, VA. My son Aiden and I go to local car shows and cruise-ins here in the Valley where it always brings up stories of when it was built or the first owner, Donnie Campbell who was an awesome dirt track racer here in the Shenandoah Valley!
This Mustang is equipped with a 351 Windsor stroker (372c.i.), Top Loader 4-speed, narrowed Ford 9” with 456 gears, ladder bar with adjustable coil-over shocks, Trick Flow aluminum heads 12.75 to 1, Ultradyne solid lift cam, Holley 650 double pump carburetor, Edelbrock Victor Jr. intake, MSD digital 6AL and MSD distributor, Hooker header exhaust cut outs, 2.5”

PURE JOY WHEN HAMMERING IT DOWN AN OPEN ROAD... AT THE POINT THAT NOTHING EXISTS BUT
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!
YOU AND THE CAR.
The car is a 2014 GT500 Super Snake Signature Edition #33 of 50 ever made. What the Shelby means to me? This car is the ultimate driving experience. It has the sound, the looks, the presence, and it gives you the feeling of pure joy when hammering it down on an open road... at the point that nothing exists but you and the car. Nobody stays in your way. It just parts crowds on the roads and they just let me pass. I call the car The Super Snake.
Mods include a Super Snake upgrade package with Kenne Bell 3.6 supercharger, long tube headers, changed stripes from black to red, full PPF, carbon diffuser, front splitter, duck tail spoiler, number plate surround, rear deck lid, interior center dash panel, steering wheel, Recaro seat inserts, upper and lower front grilles, and side skirts.
