A RETIREMENT GIFT...
I bought this Mustang in October of 2015 as a retirement gift to myself after serving for 22 years on Active Duty Air Force. My only stipulation was that the car had no rust, straight body, and excellent paint. The only thing that I haven’t replaced is the glass and body parts, so it’s essentially been gutted and updated to modern components, inside and out.

This last project lasted two years and it was completed in January of 2023 and consisted for a new fuel Injected 347 that makes around 530HP, 5-Speed TKO 600 (Modern Driveline), custom Quick Performance 9’ rearend with 3.89:1 gears in a hardened 35-Spline helical posi. If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
