MAGAZINE

Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

THE MUSTANG IS A LEGEND.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

Mustangs have always been iconic with car enthusiasts. I have always had a love for them. My favorite is the 69 Mach 1. I had an opportunity to buy a newer Mach 1 but it fell through. It was a decals only clone. But the dealer said I got another Mustang you might like. It was love at first sight. I drove it and was head over heels for it. I traded my truck in for it. And then it began, the modifications and then the car shows. I became a member of The Dead End Kruisers located in Muncie, Indiana. I am also a member of the Blue Mustang Registry #1283. I even became the director for the state of Indiana for the BMR and a member of the Mustang Club of America. It’s more than just a passion. It’s a lifestyle.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!

The car is fun to drive. It has alot of power for the price. It’s easy to work on and upgrade. People always migrate to it. The Mustang is a legend. It has been produced for over 50 years. Whether it is a V6, GT, Roush, or whatever, I can’t ever see myself without a Mustang. I also can’t ever see letting this one go. Too many people have told me they regretted letting their baby go. I won’t make the same mistake. Mustang owners are a really cool crowd. They are the nicest people and are just cool to be around. I love my Mustang and I love all Mustangs. I am lucky to be an owner of one. My kids love to ride in it and my wife is always gunning to drive it. I feel honored to drive one. I am a Mustang owner, lover, enthusiast for life! Don’t ask me what I’ve done to this Mustang. It would take multiple pages for my mod list.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

Since I was a teenager I have always loved muscle cars and especially Mustangs. I have actually owned 5 Mustangs. My wife and I drove by the Ford dealership and I seen a blue 2007 Ford Mustang GT. I was thinking blue is my favorite color, Dallas Cowboys are my favorite team, so that car is perfect. We bought it brand new in May of 2007 and the “COWBOYSTANG” was born.

Since I have owned the car, I have purchased everything I can find that is for a car that’s labeled Dallas Cowboys.

I haven’t many performance mods. Most of the mods are appearance such as ground effects kit, hood vents, fender vents, and custom interior to name a few.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

I WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT THAT WOULD STAND OUT.

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

My name is Chris Champion. I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada. This is my fifth Mustang. I’ve had two Foxbodys, and three S197s. I have a Facebook group, “PEI Mustang Club”, for all Mustang enthusiasts. Members are welcome to share photos of their cars. We have Mustang runs and do car shows. I was a Chevy man, but 15 years ago, I became a Ford man. I’ve always been into muscle cars, since getting my drivers license. I have twin 21 year old sons, who also have S197 Mustangs.

During Covid, I bought a 2005 GT, Redfire. When I purchased the car, it was a stock GT. I did a lot of work to it, but it still didn’t have a body kit, which is what I wanted. I sold it to my son, and bought this car, with the body kit. I wanted something different that would stand out. It’s close to being a daily driver, as I put 15,000 to 20,000 miles on it each summer.

The car mods include APR Performance body kit, Ram air hood was moulded off a 1970 GT 500, back end was cut off and replaced with a 2008 back end, with 1970 Mustang tail lights, suspension work with lowering kit, Boss 302 intake, Roush cold air intake, Roush exhaust, Barton short throw shifter, and next modification will hopefully be a supercharger.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

My name is Carolyn Winchester from Tennessee. I am 57 and ordered our girl in 2004. I began drag racing her in 2015. She is full time now.

Oh, did I mention just how bad she is? Not one built 5.0 or built Coyote has come close to BEATING her. She is only pushing around 475 hp. Best pass 6.86 in 1/8th mile at Beech Bend!

She is equipped with an Eaton supercharger, Hooker headers, uncapped, Ford racing cam, 4.56 gear, programmed, Fore fuel system, and Rossler 400 turbo tranny.

THE MUSTANG IS A HUGE PART OF HISTORY.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

I’ve only had this car about a year and a half. I bought it for a low price, the owner had crashed it. It’s been blood sweat and tears.

I started in the car scene interested in JDM cars. But any time I see a Mustang scream by, I could not resist understanding... and researching. The Mustang is a huge part of history. I chose a 2012 because to me it had a mix of retro and still up with the times.

I plan to supercharge my Mustang, but I still have a lot to learn. All in all it is a fun, exciting, powerful, and good looking piece of machinery. I hope for generations to come this car will still be all she is. It is not my first Mustang and not the last, but Emma will be a part of me until the end.

Mods include a Boss intake twin clutch, solid aluminum drive shaft, 4:10 gears, X pipe, Strange shocks, Eibach lowering springs, and all aftermarket suspension.

Jewel is a dream that finally came to reality. When I bought her she was a diamond in the rough. A lot of thought went into how I wanted her to look so the search went on through the winter to find the neccesary parts. The following spring the process started to convert her to the gem she is today.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I’ve been a Mustang diehard since I was a teenager. My dad got me to buy my first one which was a ‘65 Coupe. I think he somehow knew Mustangs would be my car passion before I did. I’ve had many of them over the years with the ‘69 Mach 1 being my favorite.

Mods include JLT CAI, CPC intake manifold cover, fuel rail cover and battery/master cylinder covers, Borla Atak exhaust, radiator cover and extensions, BAMA tune, Hurst short throw shifter, billet upper and lower grille, Cervinis B9 hood scoop, Raxiom Gen5 tail lights, Cervinis side scoops, ABS quarter window scoops, MMD rear diffuser, ducktail spoiler, and decklid panel, 4.10 gears, BMR suspension upgrades, 18” Bullitt Motorsport wheels, and Nitto NT555 tires.

JUST TO DRIVE AND ENJOY THE COUNTRYSIDE.

The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!

My Mustang passion started at age 18 when I got my first one. It was a 1966 2x2 Fastback. I purchased that car for $500 and it was in perfect shape. Oh, how times have changed!

A little later in life my wife and I purchased a 1967 Red Coupe. It was only a 6 cylinder, but we had so much fun with it. Our plan was to drive it and then sell it if any of our kids needed college money. We sold it when our son went to college to help pay his tuition. I decided then, that when all of our three children were out on their own, I would buy another one.

Fast forward to today, this 2006 GT Convertible is what we bought. I have never actually given her a nickname. Our favorite thing to do is take day trips to fun events, check out breweries, go to car shows, and also just to drive and enjoy the countryside. No real mods on it just prettied it up.

We are honored to have our car in STANG Magazine.

OL’ BLUE - 2008 MUSTANG GT

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!

I owned several Mustangs in my past. After I sold my 1994, I regretted it every time I passed another Mustang. During the pandemic of 2020, my goal was to get back in the saddle again. I searched auction sites and car lots for months. Something about Ol’ Blue called out to me. I found the 2008 Mustang GT on a salvage car lot in my area. It was totalled in a previous owner accident and needed lots of work and love. My two sons and I resurrected the car from dead. Some very special moments with my sons that will last my lifetime while we restored it. We added our touch inside and out. Ol’ Blue was a fitting name and feels like part of the family now. My vision of what we could do was far surpassed.

My Mustang journey and passion started when I was a kid. I loved the Pony emblem and the Mustang body lines. It cemented my passion when I realized the Mustang was released on April 17, 1964, April 17th is my birthday. Ford Mustangs represent American style and freedom to me. When I am behind the wheel, just cruising and free.

Some modifications include a BBK cold air intake, Ford Performance twin throttle body, Ford Performance Hot Rod Performance cams, X Pipe with SLP Loudmouth exhaust, Ford Performance 4.10 rear end, slotted rotors, and Foose Legend chrome wheels. More mods to come.

I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

THE DAY I SAW ENVY I FELL HEAD OVER HEELS.

Sins of Envy, other wise known as Envy, is a 2007 Mustang GT-R Regency Conversion. My favorite options include the fully functional Shaker hood system, glass roof, chrome Foose wheels (staggered setup), and custom old school pinstripes.

If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. I grew up in a Ford household. My dad and I loved working on and building cars together. My first car before I could even drive was a 68 Ford Mustang (green).

The day I saw Envy I fell head over heels. It took me 12 years to name her. I enjoy going to car shows and meeting new car friends and seeing the creativity in the love of cars and Mustangs.

SINCE THEN IT’S BEEN A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN.

This car has been a long build that started when I was very young. My grandfather had a 69 Mach 1, 73 Mach 1, 66 Fastback and 67 Fastback. He’s the reason almost every male in my family has at least one Mustang/Ford. Eventually the 73 became my first car in high school and it has been an addiction ever since. I’ve owned a total of six Mustangs including this beautiful S197.

I came back from Afghanistan and in December of 2011

I was looking for a Mustang. Then there she was on the showroom floor. 1 of 8 in the color and options it was divine intervention that she went home with me.
