Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

That meant forced induction could be a possibility in the future! The only thing that I sourced out for the entire build was having the 89 Mustang TRW forged pistons swapped onto the Lincoln rods. After carefully measuring each piston/bore and weighing every piston to keep the balance as close to the originals as possible, they were delivered to a local machinist. I‘VE BEEN TRYING TO BRING THE MAGAZINE TO THE SOUTH HOT AND HEAVY. AND GUESS WHAT? STANG MAG WILL BE THERE LOUD AND PROUD! I bought my first Mustang, a 2007 GT, in 2017 and from there it exploded. I went to a couple shows that I was invited to go to and after that, I said let’s build a show in Daytona and bam... 2019 gave birth to Mustangs At Daytona that saw 175 cars during the first show. From there, 2020 and Covid hit so that year’s show was a bust. We returned in 2021 and had over 350 cars register and spend the week in Daytona. We just keep growing and growing, year after year. I partnered up with STANG Magazine in 2019 and have since become the Director of Southeastern Operations. I’ve been trying to bring the magazine to the south hot and heavy. And guess what? STANG Mag will be there loud and proud! STANG Mag will be sponsoring our Daytona Track event and making their presence known at this year’s Mustangs at Daytona event. 2022 is going to be huge as we will also be on display at PITS again, Carlisle Ford Nationals, Mustangs At Daytona, and Mustang Week to name a few. Look for Anonymous aka McQueen everywhere. This Mustang is very unique and definitely a neck turner!
Mods include Pedders extreme XA coilovers, Carter’s Customs side splitters, Carter’s Customs rear diffuser, Roush axle back exhaust, AF cold air intake, JMS pedal max, Konig wheels, custom 1800 watt sound system, and RTR front splitter. PHOTO CRED: SAM JUAREZ

My Shelby is in my very soul. When I drive and kick up the supercharger, no words can express how thrilling it is to me. What impresses me the most about a Mustang is the amazing respect it has out on the road. I am very proud to be a Mustang owner and part of the Mustang family.

talk was with a State Trooper. Yes, it was just to ask about my car. Next in line, a Tahoe almost hit me and stopped me and stated “I would have cried if I had hit you”. I also overheard a little kid, about six years old, say to his mother “Mom, that car should be in a car show!”. It is always exciting when you look in the rear-view mirror and you catch someone taking a quick picture of your car. Mustangs are loved by all walks of life no matter the gender, age, or race. When my granddad bought a ‘67 Mustang convertible in Baby Blue, my PASSION began. My dad showed me the car world and my granddad showed me the Mustang world. I have also owned a 2004 GT (orange/black), 2009 GT (black), 2004 Mach 1 (red/black), and now the love of my life, a Shelby GT 500 SVT (black/red).

I like to get together with my husband, my daughter, and our friends to cruise around, go to car shows, and car meets. You can spot Scarlet anywhere. The love people give me for her makes it worth it all. What really makes my day is the kids that walk up and want pictures with her. Just to see their love for my car and not only my car, but a muscle car in general, makes it all worth it.

PEOPLE STOP AND ASK THE SIGNIFICANCE OF EVERYTHING ON THE CAR AND I AM ABLE TO PROVIDE A HISTORY LESSON... SKEGEE is a 2011 3.7 liter V6 manual shift convertible dedicated to my alma mater Tuskegee University Golden Tigers and the famous fighter pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen. While SKEGEE was not my first Mustang, she is my favorite.
She has over a hundred thousand miles because she was a daily driver for a long time and she has been to Tuskegee, Alabama seven times driving from here in New Jersey. I love the fact that when I am out and about, just taking her for a drive or at a car show, people stop and ask the significance of everything on the car and I am able to provide a history lesson on HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) as well as the Tuskegee Airmen. This is my favorite part of SKEGEE. I can combine my love of Mustangs and the pride I have in my Alma Mater. SKEGEE has been to Moton Field in Tuskegee, Alabama where the Tuskegee

As a woman owner, I love to see men stop and ask me questions about my car and they are in awe that I do know a lot about my car and cars in general. That is because of my father. He always worked on all his cars and I was his flashlight holder. I learned how to do a lot of maintenance on cars thanks to him. My love of Mustangs has come full circle in 2022 as I am the first female president in the forty two years of the South Jersey Mustang Club. I am humbled and very proud. He is even driven in the rain.
I have a lot more mods sitting in the basement as of this writing waiting to be installed by Jarrett Bowen of Bowen Built LLC here in Minnesota, first thing this spring. The Grinch is also our vacation car as well. Last June we put on almost 3000 miles in seven days and went to five different states including Minnesota, South Dakota, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana.
