Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride! - Daniel Ramey, Editor-In-Chief

The car is garage kept, has never seen winter, and is babied. Kona Blue is a rare color for Ford. It’s a sexy color that gets a lot of attention. I’m blessed and humbled for that phone call offering me this beauty.

It took him four painstaking years to complete the build. He sent word to my son that I needed to call him because he wanted to offer me the car. That

ALL THE STARES AND QUESTIONS ABOUT HORSEPOWER, THE OLDER GENERATION PLUGGING THEIR EARS WHEN I DRIVE BY, THE TEENAGERS ASKING ME TO “GIVE IT HELL”...

In 2019 I purchased my current vehicle from a dealership in Carrolton, Kentucky. It was practically bone stock with the odometer barely showing 20,000 miles. It was garage kept and barely driven and made for the per fect project. I started making modifications on day 1 and aside from the transmission build and my wife holding a part or two here and there, all modifications were done by myself in my own garage. Although my wife disliked the time spent

I grew up in one of those families that built and raced anything with a motor. Although my family was devoted to Chevys, I had an unheard-of fascination with the Mustang. When I turned 16, I could finally have my own car and my first car just happened to be a 1986 Mustang LX 2.3L. It didn’t take me long to fall in love with the car itself, but likewise, it didn’t take me long to realize that it wasn’t enough. So, I worked and saved up and a year or so later I purchased a 1987 GT. It was definitely a fixer upper, but I wanted to take pride in my vehicle, so I learned how to make all the repairs and modifications myself. Since then, I have owned at least 12 Foxbody Mustangs and countless others as well. But my two favorite vehicles will always be my 2003 Mach 1 and the one I currently own, my 2010 GT Premium.

I love attending Mustang events and shows, but I’ve always dreamt of participating in an autocross event. I said for years that I was going to set this car up to be able to do these events myself. This is why I chose the RTR setup. I finally made my dream a reality in March 2022. I was hooked instantly and I definitely plan to participate in more autocross events in the future. My obsession with the Mustang started young and I haven’t looked back since. All the stares and questions about horsepower, the older generation plugging their ears when I drive by, the teenagers asking me to “give it hell”, and all my friends and family asking for “just a ride around the block” – these made all the late nights in the garage and every penny spent worth the blood, sweat, and tears that have gone into making this MY car. The mods list is way too extensive to list. Feel free to reach out to me at @caudill_rtr and I’ll be happy to answer any of your questions. Enjoy the ride! The tune provided with the Roush Stage 3 Supercharger was a bit to tame for me therefore I purchased another aftermarket tune from VMP Performance. The new tune removed all the restrictions and increased performance tremendously. The addition of the Speedform throttle body controller eliminated the drive by wire pedal delay plus enhanced the acceleration. Beltway Mustangs, Frederick Mustangs, the Carroll County Mustang Crew, and a few other Facebook groups joined up to bring between 80-90 Mustangs! Not only did we win the car count category, we swept the event by taking the 50/50 raffle prize and People’s Choice Award. The best part however was that our very own Douglas Smith drove our fearless leader’s (Daniel Ramey) STANG Magazine car (RNEGADE) to the event without him knowing. Dan was away for the weekend
