From Subifest, to Wicked Big Meet, to Boxerfest, and many small shows throughout the country, Subi Vibes has been there to share in your adventures and to create our own. The connection between Subi Vibes and the community continues to grow and our image continues to evolve. Subaru owners get it. They know what it is like to own a fun auto and they know what it is like to hit that open road in search of adventure. They live it every day. They live our motto. Every year since our founding, the amount of family, friends, and fans has grown. Over the past couple of years there has been conversations about the mission of Subi Vibes, its role in the Subi community, and how it could continue to grow and reach new levels. The thought of being able to do the things we love every day became very appealing, so we took the chance to give you a visual media platform to share your passion, your ride, and your personal list of adventures. In 2023, we launched Subi Vibes Magazine and we hope you join us on this new road to help our Subi community grow with love, pride, and courage to enjoy the adventure that awaits.

BEAST - 2016 SUBARU STI

BUILDING UNIQUE VEHICLES AND CREATING CUSTOM FEATURES HAS BEEN IN MY BLOOD FROM AN EARLY AGE.

In 2016 I was preparing to buy my first new Subaru STI, not once envisioning or even dreaming of how that purchase would set me on a path I never could have imagined. Initially, I located a black 2016 STI that was waiting for me at a dealership, but that was short lived once I set eyes on a limited edition Hyperblue STI parked there. I knew that particular STI was special as only 700 were made in the USA and were typically required to be pre-ordered. As I inquired about the Hyperblue STI, it was music to my ears when I learned how the dealership had just acquired the STI that very same day and it was still available for sale. Fortunately for me, the sale had fallen through with the person who had pre-ordered the vehicle. I left with BEAST that day and never looked back. The circumstances surrounding how I came to purchase BEAST could not have worked out any more in my favor and it was the beginning of a whole new adventure.

Building unique vehicles and creating custom features has been in my blood from an early age. My father and three older brothers instilled a creative and strong work ethic in me, and together we built many styles of vehicles from the wheels up. Fixing, building, and determining how each vehicle runs best, while doing so in any and all weather conditions, really created a sense of pride in the finished product and would

DRIVING A SUBARU BRINGS SUCH HAPPINESS...

Growing up, having a nice car was a dream of mine. A Subaru was one of the many cars I wanted. Just over a month ago that dream came true. Taking home a brand new 2023 Subaru WRX.

Every weekend I now go to a local car meet to show off my car. Although it may be close to stock, not including the cold air intake I had just installed, the love and support I get from Subaru owners is amazing. We all share the same passion and that’s what had driven me to buying a sports car.

Driving a Subaru brings such happiness in my spare time while I’m home. I’m beyond thankful to share a passion with many others!

HEAVEN WILL HEAR THE RUMBLE - 2020 SUBARU STI

I’VE NEVER FELT A CONNECTION WITH A CAR LIKE I FEEL WITH THIS ONE. WHETHER IT BE ON THE OPEN ROAD OR THE TRACK, THIS CAR NEVER DISAPPOINTS.

In 2019, my life changed forever. My oldest son at the young age of 22 left this earth. He left behind his obsession with Subarus. Bailey always spoke of owning and modifying an STI one day. In November 2019, I purchased his dream car and fulfilled his dream.

I’ve never felt a connection with a car like I feel with this one. Whether it be on the open road or the track, this car never disappoints. My son may be gone but his dream and his passion for Subarus will live on. Never forget “You only die once but you get to live every day.”

SKIPPY - 2020 SUBARU WRX

Here is my 2020 Subaru WRX “Skippy”. My love for Subarus started after I bought my 2003 Legacy. Once I discovered the WRX, I instantly fell in love and it became my dream car. After years of saving, I finally got one. I can not put into words how much I love this car. Not only does this car look and drive amazingly, even my husband who loves his Mustangs admits he enjoys driving it.

I’ve enjoyed bringing it to different shows and cars and coffee on the weekends. I haven’t done many mods to the car, but there are more I am planning to do.

Mods include black and green vinyl stripes put on by Stoneburner Customs, Rokblokz mud flaps, fender badges, license plate delete, license plate relocation bracket, F1 break light, carbon fiber spoiler, and side mirror covers.

Just can’t get enough… popular song by the 80s hit band Depeche Mode. That’s kind of how I feel about Subaru. I’ve owned three so far, 2005 Crystal Gray STi, 2008 Tribeca, and 2013 Rally Blue WRX Hatch. In a couple of years my daughter will get her driver’s license and her first car will be a Subaru. My love for Subaru started at an autocross in the late 1990s with the Subaru 2.5 RS coupe, I wanted one so bad. Then the WRX came over and then the STi a couple years later. Fast, safe, reliable, practical, and fun are what made me fall in love with my 2005 STi and later my 2013 WRX. Both were heavily autocossed and brought to track for HPDE. These hard miles never resulted in any mechanical problems. A solid, well-built car made racing much less stressful. I remember leaving Pocono Raceway when my wife called and asked me to do some grocery shopping on the way home. It was a proud feeling when I loaded the trunk with bags of groceries having just torn down the straight at the Pocono North Course.

From the factory, both my STi and WRX came ready to battle in the parking lot, so I really didn’t need much in the way of modifications. The STi received Hawk HP Plus pads, an aggressive set of street tires, a K&N Typhoon intake, and larger front sway bar. The WRX was modded with Koni Yellow adjustable struts, Hawk HP-Plus pads, larger front sway bar,

Invidia catback exhaust, and an aggressive set of street tires. A special thanks to AZP Installs in Kenilworth, NJ (908)2482971 who performed all the work on both Subarus and provided me with the perfect alignment for autocross.

I am a third generation car junkie. Having, literally, grown up in muscle cars, it was only a matter of time before I found the car that would become my passion. In July 2013, I bought a new WRX.

After it spun a bearing with only 16k miles, I began the journey into gaining knowledge about my car. I spent the next couple years taking an interest in everything about it. Whether it was changing the oil, rotating or swapping the wheels, pulling the motor (twice), changing the turbo, removing and installing something, fabricating brackets, or you name it, I was doing it. I take pride in my car because I’m doing the work. I’ve been blessed to have a couple handfuls of friends to teach and help me along the way. I have also had some amazing sponsors who have helped me bring the WRX to what everyone sees today. Last year in Daytona, Florida at the 2022 SubieFest, Bucky Lasek signed my car and featured it on his YouTube channel.

I’d like to thank my husband for the endless support and help from the moment I bought the WRX.

What you see is my dream and vision, turned into reality. And remember, I’m not just pretty, I wrench on my own car.
