WHITE OUT Volume 1
HONORING OUR wHITE MUSTANGS
SPECIAL EDITION
MAGAZINE
Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

SHE’S A KEEPER!
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
Cali is a 2007 Ford Mustang GT California Special. This is the second Mustang that I have owned. My first Mustang was a 1966 coupe which I had back in the late 80s. I never lost my like of Mustangs and I always admired others. Over the years, I put together a mental list of options that I wanted if I was to buy another Mustang.
During the pandemic in 2020, I got the itch to buy another Mustang so I started looking. I recently came across this beauty and it had everything that I wanted and more. I had to have it! Since purchasing Cali, I have had a lot of fun driving her and putting her in car shows. She’s a keeper!
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
List of features include 5-speed manual transmission with Hurst shifter package, 20” x 10” Chrome Foose Legend Wheels wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact DWS06
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
Plus High Performance All-Season radial tires, Bassani
4607SR5 Stainless Steel Mufflers with 4” Stainless Steel Rolled Tips, Bassani 1 5/8” Stainless Full Length Headers, JLT Performance Cold Air Intake, and California Special package.
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

HAVING THE MUTUAL HOBBY BETWEEN US JUST MAKES IT ALL EVEN BETTER.

The Karma 2.0 build is going well. We only have a few more things that’s in our future to add to the car. We are looking to get cams and we are also going to go with the AirLift 3p suspension, hopefully by the end of next summer. I would also like to get the GT500 front end. Getting to go to car shows and car meets is like no other. Getting to look at other peoples’ builds and goals they have reached is what makes the car scene so awesome. This is a hobby that we have had together since we first met and it will be a hobby until the end. There is just so much satisfaction from working hard on your car and getting to show it off to others.

THEY’RE HANDED DOWN OWNER AFTER OWNER...
I acquired the car back in November of 2021 as a roller not knowing just how much of a basket case the car actually was. As most Foxbodys are, they’re handed down owner after owner and tampered with to the point they’re butchered to death. This car was no exception, mainly it was a wiring nightmare that was ready to catch on fire at any moment. After having a 349ci stroker engine built by Snyder Racing, the car was taken to Walsh Automotive to have all the wiring redone and engine bay restored.

DRIVE FAST... DON’T DIE... LIVE FREE!
I’ve previously owned three SVT Ford Mustang Cobras. Since the fall of 2021, I have come to enjoy the events Steve Spangler puts on with Red Mirror Events. It has become a passion. To handle the roads, at the speeds driven during these events, I sold my 2003 Mustang Cobra and purchased my first Shelby GT350 on July 1, 2023.
There’s nothing like being behind the wheel of a specifically engineered, crafted and designed Mustang of this caliber. The flat plane crank of the 5.2 liter V-8, a.k.a. Voo -

Like most car enthusiasts, I myself love this car. It has done more for me and my family than I could ever have imagined.
It has given me the opportunity to meet an amazing group of Mustang lovers. The Mustangs of Cincinnati group is an amazing group of people, it’s more like a family.
Storm E has a a few modifications including Detroit rocker cams, Pypes long tube headers and H pipe, Ford Performance handling, and lowering kit with Roush catback extreme exhaust.

THERE IS A DEEP APPRECIATION AND RESPECT...
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
My husband is a dedicated father and works extremely hard for everything he has and wants. Growing up as a military BRAT, life wasn’t always easy and the wants far exceeded the needs. One of those wants was a Mustang of his own. We were able to fulfill that dream in May 2012 with his first Mustang; which was a 2008 Cali Special. I loved this car, and life is about sacrificing and being the loving wife; I sacrificed my own 2004 GMC Yukon XL Denali for his dream. This was the beginning of the hot rod journey for my husband. Like many others, he started making his own modifications to it (louder and with more power).
After moving to Florida he traded his 08 for a brand new 2016 Cali Special. “The Trooper,” was born and the mods started. She is a beauty. There is a deep appreciation and respect for the Mustang and its iconic history that my husband holds dear. It still has me in awe when we are out

driving, and pass other Mustangs; the level of commonality is evident, they buy them stock and personalize them to match their personalities. I have always had a love for the four legged Mustangs, and now being a co-owner of a Mustang with horse power, it blows me away… no pun intended.

THAT’S WHEN I FELL IN LOVE WITH MUSTANG CONVERTIBLES...
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
I started driving a friend’s 1966 Mustang GT back in the spring of 1967. That’s when I fell in love with Mustang Convertibles. In 1991 I was laid off and loss the use of my company car. A friend had a car in his son-in-law’s father’s junk yard for $300 so I went down and looked at it. It was a 1980 Mustang Notchback, inline 6 cylinder automatic. I bought it. I proceeded to redo the interior. Next in 1993 I came into some money, so I gave the car to my daughter and purchased a 1988 Mustang Convertible, 4 cylinders with a manual transmission. I kept it one year and then moved up to a 1991 White Mustang GT Convertible, 5-speed manual, which I still own. In 2007 I bought a 2004 White Mustang GT Convertible, 5-speed manual.
After the passing of my wife in September of 2018, I decided it was time to trade in the 2004, which I did in Sep -

tember of 2018 for the 2019 Ford Mustang GT, with Performance Package 1. I bought this sight unseen, since it was the only White Mustang in Florida with a manual 6-speed transmission. When I got to the dealer it had not arrived yet, but I bought it anyway and when it arrived, they called and I picked it up. Since I have owned it, I changed out the front grille for the “Pony in Corral” grille, and since convertibles with PP1 come with “wing delete” I added the PP1 spoiler and a shorty antennae.
