WILD RIDES MOVIES & COMICS MAGAZINE SPECIAL EDITION HONORING OUR sPECIAL EDITION MUSTANGS
MAGAZINE
Mustang enthusiasts have asked for a magazine that has no ads, no sales pitches, and no bogus “fillers” to eat up space. They have asked for a magazine that is free, easy to access, and nothing but focused on Mustang pictures and content. They have asked for a magazine produced and written by Mustang owners. They have asked for a magazine that highlights the daily drivers and the average Mustang that is driven and is not a trailer queen. They have asked for the chance to one day have their ride, their group, their club, or their cause to be recognized in print or online. It is our absolute pleasure to meet these standards and to give you STANG Magazine. We hope that both our message and our image will be seen in every Mustang community out there. Thank you Mustang fans and enjoy your ride!

MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.
MY PERSONAL FAVORITE HAS BEEN THE CHUCKY FRANCHISE, ESPECIALLY BRIDE OF CHUCKY.
My family and I have always been a fan of fixing up cars and the horror genre. My personal favorite has always been the Chucky franchise, especially Bride of Chucky. I’ve always loved how pretty both Tiffany and her actor, Jennifer Tilly are.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquiring this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
I’ve had my car for about two years and working on it and taking part in car shows is my favorite thing ever. I love putting smiles on people’s faces.
The STANG Mag family welcomed me in from the very start and made me feel like one of their own!
Mods include blue carbon fiber interior, American Muscle side scoops, American Racing staggered wheels, custom exhaust, Underglow light and grille, Matte Black wrap, sound system and custom sub enclosure, TV/Xbox in trunk by 501 customs, and custom wrap and graphics by Area Grafix.
Members of the STANG Mag family are more passionate about fun and inclusion than they are their cars and that says a lot! I can’t wait to see what’s to come in 2022!

THERE IS NO BETTER FEELING THAN THE POWER OF THAT ROARING V8.

I grew up in a muscle car family. My grandpa, dad, and uncle were all into them so you can say that its in my blood. I grew up around all sorts of different muscle cars but my favorite was the Mustang.
I knew when I got older that the dream was to own a Mustang. My first was a 2012 V6 and from then I knew the only car for me was a stang. I’ve now been behind the wheel of the 5.0. There is no better feeling than the power of that roaring V8.
Mods for my 2017 Mustang GT “Carnage” include a GT500 front bumper with a front splitter, and custom painted 4”cowl hood, driver side, and dash.

I grew up with a love of Mustangs thanks to my Mom. She had three, so when it came time for me to pick a car, there was no question. I was getting a Mustang. I’ve had a 2000 V6, 2008 V6, and a 2015 EcoBoost. I loved them all. But when I chose this 2020 Race Red beauty of a V8, I was stepping into a true Mustang experience.
He’s developed the nickname “Deadpool”, not just because of the colors, but because I truly appreciate DP’s snarky wit. From there, I’ve been fortunate enough to take him out to fundraising events and charity cruises to bring smiles to the faces of both kids and adults alike. I even get to enjoy the car in the winter as it’s my daily, despite living in central Alberta, Canada. Still makes for some great photos.
Aside from the cosmetic mods like the wraps and scoops/ vents/louvers, the only thing I’ve done is switch out the CAI for a Roush. No tune. Just liked the look better.

This is Diablo, my 1999 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. I’ve always had the Mustang bug since I was little. I like the way they looked and especially the sound.
I always wanted to own one but never really had the money. I worked hard and I was fianlly able to get this one and it has been transformed into what it is today.
Some of the mods are Stage 1 comp cams, BBK long tube headers, BBK 78mm throttle body, and BBK catted X-pipe.

LIV IS A CHARACTER BUILD OF MY OWN DESIGN.
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
On the reality side, this is a 2017 Mustang EB Premium Package. Mods include Cervinis Splitter, Renegade Grille, Roush Cold Air Intake, Mishimoto Intercooler and Radiator, Turbosmart BOV, MBRP Cat-back “Race” Exhaust, Drake Muscle Spoiler, Ford Performance Street Handling Suspension Package, and shoed with Pirelli PZero AS Plus 3 235 50R18 101W. Last, but not least, street tuned with Electric Speed Limiter removed by Tojo Motorsports.
The name, Liv Wire, is derived from my Navy profession as Aviation Electronics Technician, interpreting computer mismatched code to locate faulty components. I digress, point is, looking for wire that is supposed to be “Live”. The pronunciation remains the same, with the long “I”, but the spelling changed, inspired from Liv Tyler.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I loved that car but acquir ing this one reinvigorated my passion for car shows and events!
On the fictional side, Liv is a character build of my own design. A female Autobot, Special Operations Ground Captain (according to the glyph on the right quarter panel).
What can I say, been in love with the design of Ford’s Mustang of the 60s through early 70s, then fell back in with the ‘05-current. I also enjoyed growing up around the Transformers franchise and always wanted to create my own character. The 2017 Mustang Ecoboost provided the perfect platform to do so.
A deep dive into her character would require an interview with someone interested in the creation of her story.
I met Daniel Ramey at a Beltway Mustang show and won my spot with STANG Magazine in their Carlisle Ford Nationals display. Needless to say I wasn’t sure what to expect being that I didn’t know the people attending and was going by myself.

IT LIKES TO PUSH THE LIMITS OF MY BANK ACCOUNT AND THE LOCAL BACK ROADS.

Loki (God of Mischief) is the perfect name for this car since it likes to push the limits of my bank account and the local back roads. It is a factory PP1 car with a 10-speed auto transmission and upgraded with a Roush Phase 2 supercharger installed by Beechmont Ford Performance. Additional mods include a full BMR suspension upgrade, Roush exhaust, Specialty Forged 3-piece alloy wheels and a full complement of additional performance and aesthetic modifications. Most of the work on this car has been done in my garage over an 18-month period.
I enjoy driving this car and have conquered the Dragon several times and have also driven to Myrtle Beach for Mustang Week and The Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit. I am a member of the Mustangs of Cincinnati and the 859 Mustang Syndicate. I also have a 1966 Mustang Convertible that I am currently enjoying restoring.

This 1998 Ford Mustang GT was originally a 4.6, 2 valve car that has been updated with a 5.3 liter LS and a 88/96 VS Racing turbo. It has a Summit stage 3 cam and Ultimate rpm valve train. I regularly run at my local track, Beaver Springs Dragway and the car has been a best of 5.77 at 117 in the 1/8 mile. It is also equipped with a complete AJE tubular suspension up front including K member and control arms, double adjustable uppers, and single adjustable lower rear trailing arms from UPR with Viking Crusader coil overs on all 4 corners to help plant the power to the ground. The car has Strange spool and axles with c clip eliminators and 5/8 studs in rear.

My love of Mustangs started with my brother, Nate Clark, and his four-eye Foxbody that I helped him with here and there. Then when he got his SN95 and started racing, I fell in love with the platform and purchased my 98 in 2019. The build began and I started by doing the body work along with my best friend, Harvey Smith. He layed down a killer paint job by respraying the original bright Atlantic Blue paint after replacing the rear quarter on the car and bumpers then buffing it out to the incredible finish.

Ever since I saw the first Predator movie in 1987, I was hooked on it. I’ve made my Mustang to show off this film. With hints of lime green to represent the Predator’s blood from combat to their language on it. The theme also follows through on the inside so you are completely surrounded by it.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. I’ve taken him to many car shows and every time people love him. I love when children take an interest in him asking questions about the Predator. It’s taken me a few years to get here but there is definitely a lot more to do. I’ve always had a passion for working on my own cars, but this one has just been the one that I’m finally able to say is show quality. Special thanks to everyone that has helped along the way.
Mods include an upper and lower Cervini grille, MMD front splitter, custom Predator 5.0 badges, custom full stripes, RBG color changing headlights, Airtekk air ride suspension, Katzkin custom interior, EMP rear diffuser and side skirts, Borla ATAK cat back exhaust, and smoked Euro tail lights.

THE ONE.”
My love for Mustangs go back to 1984, when my cousin would pick me up and carry me for the fastest and most fun ride of my life. In 1996 I purchased my first, a 1993 Candy Apple Red, 5 speed, 5.0 Foxbody. She was hot! Adorned with original 5 star chrome rims, when we went out, everyone knew it, the sound was out of this world. Nothing could compare to those Flowmaster pipes! Sadly she was stolen in September of 1999. That will always be my favorite pony!

Coming from a family that loved other Fords, but especially Mustang lovers, I always knew I would own another. My cousin, coworker, oldest and youngest brother, who all own Mustangs, always encouraged me, and questioned when? Then on January 20th, 2020, (my dad’s birthday), I laid eyes on Red Riding Hood as she was howling, “I’m the one.”
Red Riding Hood has a Coyote 5.0 TI-VCT V8, (heart) engine and has bought home many trophies, including Marvelous Modern, Best Ford, 2nd Place and many Top 20-25. This Coyote automatically changes speeds and is equipped to represent with it’s performance package. She has a Rapid Red metallic clear coat that’s professionally protected with a ceramic pro coating, put on by Buff Mas -

ter’s of Wilmington, NC. Boy does she turn heads with her glassy shine and beam when we go strolling. The JLT cold air intake and tune, that was put on by MnT Performance of Wilmington, NC and her cool air design hood vents allow her to take large, deep breathes of fresh air. The Nitto tire kit along with the staggered Rovos Gloss Black wheels prepares her for her pounce. Her quad tip dual exhaust and her Ford Performance resonator delete x pipe echoes, “catch me if you can.” Finally her Drake Muscle car wicker bill, rear spoiler helps to keep her grounded as she goes howling bye, bye!

I DECIDED TO DO THE THEME TO THE CAR TO BE DIFFERENT FOR KIDS TO SEE...
Superman has been a major part of my family where many people call us the Superman family as we love to help the community as much as we can. I decided to do the theme to the car to be different for kids to see and experience something we never got to see when we grew up. The car is also a memorial for my grandpa who has been fighting from a sickness for over 10 years when the doctors told him over and over he only has so many years to live but he over came and proved them wrong.

SOMETIMES PEOPLE ASK
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
ME IF IT’S FASTER THAN A SPEEDING BULLET. I TELL THEM NO BUT WISH IT WAS. I GET A KICK OUT OF THAT.
If you asked me if I thought I’d be writing an article for STANG Magazine for my car this time last year I would’ve said no. If you asked me if I would be writing it about a different car than the 2005 Roush Mustang I had I would’ve said hell no. This is my 2013 Mustang GT “SUPERMAN”. I’ve loved Mustangs since I was a kid. I have owned five Mustangs including Superman. Being a Mustang enthusiast is like having an extended family. I have made many great friends through the Mustang community. I love going to car shows and taking cruises. It’s a fun and rewarding hobby.
I built my Mustang based on my childhood hero Superman. I wanted to make it subtle and not over the top. So I had a hood liner, fender badges, center caps and a windshield banner made in the Superman theme. Sometimes people ask me if it’s faster than a speeding bullet. I tell them no but wish it was. I get a kick out of that. Some other mods are Borla Exhaust, BBK Cold Air Intake and SR Lowering Springs dropped 1 1/2” all around.

WONDER WOMAN - 2018 MUSTANG GT
IT’S NOT ABOUT DESERVE, IT’S ABOUT WHAT YOU BELIEVE. AND I BELIEVE IN LOVE.
This is “Wonder Woman” (STANG WW) and she is my pride and joy. She is a 2018 Ford Mustang GT Fastback, with the Performance Package 1 (PP1), and with the Royal Crimson Metallic Clear Coat, a one year only stock color from Ford Company. At the time that I bought my Mustang, I didn’t know how special she was going to be. I fell in love with her as she gleamed on the showroom floor of the Huntington Beach Ford Dealership. My husband, Jonny Serrano, and I, had to take her home and make her part of the family.
MEMBERS OF THE STANG MAG FAMILY ARE MORE PASSIONATE ABOUT FUN AND INCLUSION THAN THEY ARE THEIR CARS AND THAT SAYS A LOT!
My Mustang, “Wonder Woman,” is inspired by the DC Comics superhero, Wonder Woman, who was created by William Moulton Marston in 1941. However, she is dedicated to the 2017 and 2020 films, which starred Israeli actress and model, Gal Gadot. My Mustang depicts strength, agility, power and courage, which embodies the true essence of Wonder Woman. You can see that with her custom-made show hood prop with the silhouette of Wonder Woman, designed by Martin Metalworks, and the custom-made airbrushed rear decklid with Wonder Woman’s Lasso of Truth and Tiara, designed by Auto Badges!
