The challenge at the Western Union Headquarters campus was to express the company’s fascinating, 160 year history into the working environment in ways that would measurably affect employee collaboration, recruitment and retention. C L I E N T

category of workspaces were created, which straddled the line

between social retreat zones and workspaces. The newly fashioned workspace zones are in high demand and have visibly enhanced opportunities for collaboration among employees. Pride of place among campus workers has risen as a direct result of the redesign. Efficiencies have been realized by utilizing new spaces, both indoors and outdoors, as opportunities for people to come together and collaborate.
