Instead the real estate agents turned it into a positive - taking the opportunity to give their Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre headquarters a new look. Mr Hall said it had been a shock for the staff to come in on a Saturday morning and to find the office flooded.
He said there had been a Halls office in Endeavour Hills since 1975 and while there have been some changes over the years this had been the most significant facelift for the premises. “We were closed for four days but we have been up and running for a couple of weeks now and it all very nice.” He said at the same time manager Gary Andrews, who had been with the firm for a number of years, decided to retire and Carina Cigna stepped into the role.
