It currently donates $50 for every sale it makes to the Olie Foundation which saw the group hand over a cheque for more than $30,000 at a recent charity golf day O’Brien Real Estate Corporate organised, in aid of this charity, which supports disadvantaged sick children in local communities. Last Wednesday, the company decided to take up the Ice Bucket challenge after several nominations. “Thankfully, it was a reasonably warm sunny day but there is no nice way to pour a bucket of icy cold water over your head,” said Rod Capuano, the director of O’Brien Real Estate Pakenham. As the sales team lined up outside the office on the corner of John Street and James Street, many passing cars were happy to toot their support and there was no shortage of encouragement from the locals. The sales team accepted the challenge and money was raised through some donations and the team themselves. O’Brien Real Estate Pakenham is proud to be donating $500 to the Motor Neurone Disease Foundation, which it says is a very worthwhile charity.
