me busy there for a while. I’ve been training horses for seven years.” But real estate called him too, and so four years ago he started juggling the two careers - and it seems it’s a very successful venture. “I’m still training - we had a winner at Pakenham the other day,” he said. “My partner Jenna and I get up fairly early each day - 4.30am to work the horses and then we go off to our jobs.” He said while it was a long day, “it’s worth it”. “I love the horses but I think doing both works well for me,” he said. While he deals with all facets of

the real estate market, he said being a horse trainer probably gave him a special empathy for the rural sector. “I get to meet a lot of people in the racing community and I think that helps,” he said.
