Quick off the mark to digitise STAR Noosa has downsized their office and upsized their sales as they move into the digital era of today’s generation. Star principal Vicki Cooper said the move to smaller premises was in keeping with the shift to a faster online sales market. “It’s all happening online now; people see you online and in newspapers, they don’t go in to offices as much anymore unless it’s to sign documents,” Vicki said. But the shift to the 21st century doesn’t mean Star Noosa has lost its connection with the buyer or seller, quite the opposite. “We have changed the layout in the new office so it’s inviting and open - the space will be used to talk with clients about their needs and to sign paperwork so the atmosphere is more relaxed and warm,” Vicki said. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, with eight of those years in Peregian Beach, Vicki said a change in the market, whether buying or selling, wasn’t anything new. Always a straight-shooter, Vicki said she had seen a “bounce back” in the market since the Global
Financial Crisis (GFC), but said the market was not as strong as before 2007. “The market is unlikely to bounce back to those levels in the short term, but in this area there are more and more people moving here for the lifestyle, there is always a steady flow of buyers,” Vicki said. “I have seen a boost in people who want to either downsize their home and travel or buy a relatively new home to avoid the hassle of renovations.” Vicki said Star Noosa prided itself on being honest and upfront with clients, even if it’s not what they want to hear. “We want our clients to make informed decisions so we tell them what they need to know, not what they want to hear,” Vicki said. “We will always be clear with our clients about what’s honestly going on from how many people attended their open home to what the local market looks like at any time.” To see for yourself what Star Noosa is all about head to the new website at www.starnoosa.com or drop in to see the team in their new office at 2/8 Grebe Street, Peregian Beach.
