The future of the construction industry is looking bright, according to Master Builders deputy CEO Paul Bidwell.

Richardson and Wrench Noosa sales agent Cam Goode, who negotiated the sale with fellow agent Jill Goode, said the sale and price achieved was a fantastic result for a property that was on the market for the first time. “A sale of this price in the Tewantin area within a week of listing is testament to the market at present. Low rates, perfect weather, a stable government and the end of financial year out of the way are all contributing to a very healthy property market within the Noosa Shire,” Mr Goode said. And there is a question mark about how many of these will be built. “Unfortunately the same can’t be said for the commercial sector. The value of completed work was up 2.2 per cent across the financial year. This was not helped by the fact that public sector spending was down 15 per cent for the 12 months. We expect a slight improvement in 2016/17 given there is limited funding in the state budget.”
